I can't believe anyone would want to ban milk, if you stopped eating and drinking everything people said causes cancer there wouldn't be much left

A few years ago Swedish were really good at these researches with "stuff that causes cancer".

Coffee causes cancer, same with potato chips and what else? Cell phones...

I like steaks. Everytime we have to put cow/bulls away, I greet them next time when I buy meat

Goddamn all this snow. I thought I could let moos out in end of Apr but doesn't look good. I mean, I first have to make some kind of fence there before I can let them out. Even... if I go there now, open the door, I'm pretty sure I get every cow back since they usually run back after first round.

We used to have this old, fat cow. She was all dark red (=brown), had huge eyes and she always looked bit hysterical (and she was). The field goes down to river so they always run there and then get back up here. This old cow, we called her Mrs K on her last years, was first to run down but got bit tired and was 20metres behind others when they were coming back  It was just sweet because she couldn't run fast for long since... she was fat

I have pic of her from last summer MRs. K

She was a great moo :( It was so sad to put her away. She was 9 yrs old *sigh* Life hasn't been the same after she was gone...

 No, seriously. She's one of those cows what you'll probably always remember.

Aww, sorry to hear about Mrs. K. I hate that part of Moo life. :( Always much too short.

    On a lighter note, here's More Moo-isms...

    A SOCIALIST:
You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.

    A REPUBLICAN:
You have two cows. Your neighbor has none. So what?

    A DEMOCRAT:
You have two cows. Your neighbor has none. You feel guilty for being successful. You vote people into office who tax your cows, forcing you to sell one to raise money to pay the tax. The people you voted for then take the tax money and buy a cow and give it to your neighbor. You feel righteous.

    A COMMUNIST:
You have two cows. The government seizes both and provides you with milk.

    A FASCIST:
You have two cows. The government seizes both and sells you the milk. You join the underground and start a campaign of sabotage.

    DEMOCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. The government taxes you to the point you have to sell both to support a man in a foreign country who has only one cow, which was a gift from your government.

    CAPITALISM, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. You sell one, buy a bull, and build a herd of cows.

    BUREAUCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. The government takes them both, shoots one, milks the other, pays you for the milk, and then pours the milk down the drain.

    :)

Oo... we had another babymoo today :D and we got one on 23rd also. Both females :D First one is called Vokue (hee, comes from Vogue, but we avoid g's) and this one is called Vehenä (would be Vehnä in real Finnish, means wheat). There should be three more babymoos in this spring :D I do hope all those are bulls.

    Cows! :)

My family (my father) owns a farm... used to raise cattle for milking. Fun fun!

I had a pet cow too. A Holstein (black and white spotted) whose name was Holly. :D

Mmmmmmmmmm... milk. Can you believe I only drink Skim milk?

    Alrighy. A few pics

Vihine was born on Saturday. She's really, really small. Much smaller than others.

Vokue (female) was born a week ago. She was ill for a few days but now feels better. Seems to have her first bite of grass.

Tähti and her son Vinski. This little bull was born yesterday. He is amazingly white

But he has a few spots on the other side :D
