I really can't wait this premiere!!! I've always liked to see Mac's more personal side and I Gary is fabulous actor! Flashbacks, questions that need answers even after ten years! Gosh I've waited/wished long time to see how they're gonna give Mac a closure about Claire. Now there's a chance we're gonna get it.

Haven't they shown pictures of Claire on the show before? Not that it makes any difference continuity being what it is on this show . . . :shifty:

Eh, casting a different actress to play the character after showing a picture for 10 seconds doesn't bother me because the woman in that picture may have been a model but not an actress, she may not be available (or interested), etc. I didn't even remember much of what she looked like until perlnoir posted that screencap. :lol:

As long as they cast a good actress for the flashbacks, it's cool with me. It's not really a continuity issue as far as I'm concerned.

I suppose you're right Fay. I was thinking before that they showed her picture more than they actually have so that's why I was thinking of the continuity issue. I am very curious to see who they cast, too.

I just looked on IMDb and the episode was "Blacklist (Featuring Grave Digger)" and the flashbacks were of Mac and his parents. Gail O'Grady played Mac's mom. I don't think they've ever shown anything but the picture of Claire.

The 333 stalker story that had flashbacks?? When Mac worked out what all the buildings meant to him.
Didn't it show a flashback of them on one of the buildings when he asked her to marry him?
Can't remember myself and if i hadn't seen that pic i wouldn't have remembered what she looked like so i guess it doesn't matter who is cast.

There was no flashback in that episode.

They spoke about Claire, but there were only flashbacks of his parents to the best of my recollection.

Nope, it was just Mac. And he's NEVER mentioned any other family. In fact, if you do the math, his father was 37 already when he was born. And particularly given the era and generation his parents were in, I'm going to guess that they weren't able to have any other kids, and that even Mac wasn't supposed to have happened. I know that's kind of reading into his background, but given we're never told anything about it.... Plus, I don't see Mac as someone who would NEVER go visit his family, and remember, prior to going to London with Peyton, he hadn't taken a day off in 5 years.
