When are CSI reruns supposed to move to the channel USA?

USA Network just wrote back to me. Here's what they said:

He also says that they will begin with the pilot at 6am on 1/14 and go in order from there.

Okay, I'm watching some season one repeats on Spike today and in Boom Catherine calls Doc Robbins 'Dave'. It got me to thinking how much the writers like to use the same names over and over.

Dave: Doc Robbins, SuperDave, David Hodges
    Riley: Detective Riley, CSI Riley
Ronnie: lab tech Ronnie, CSI Ronnie

Can anyone else think of some more? With their penchant for reusing names, I'm sure they're out there.

Of course then Doc Robbins became Albert. :) But the two Davids...that's always made me wonder.

One thing I've noticed...almost to the point of researching it myself...is how often they use "Trent" for a first and/or last name.

Glad they changed it to Albert, having both coronors named David would have been confusing

And for Trent yeah I guess they kind of do, the guy that grabbed Sara in Committed I believe his name was Adam Trent, in Living Doll Natalie's foster brother was named Trent I think, and I'm sure there's more

So Smokey your comment started me thinking even more....

On the cast and details page of TV Guide, it lists some of the cast members and their roles. It is not complete, but....

I found 7 instances of the name Trent. It was used as the last name of multiple family members in seasons four and ten (1-4), the last name in seasons five and six (5-6), and as a first name in season six (7).

In regards to the coroners, I realized Doc Robbins is portrayed by Robert David Hall and SuperDave by David Berman. I guess that might explain the name change. :p

Also, I just watched Greg dancing with the showgirl headdress on his head. Ahhh, I love the old episodes!

Thanks for doing the research for me! I knew I wasn't imagining things.

I'm enjoying the old school marathon on Spike today too. :)

From IMDB, "However, the actor who portrays Doc Robbins, Robert David Hall, has been known to go by his middle name, David." So maybe it was just a slip-up calling his character that too.

The detective was O'Riley, so not quite the same. :)

Watching some season 2 now, and I miss Greg's goofiness in the lab (although I do like him in the field too).

I noticed that during my search on the name Trent. Kinda hoped no one would call me on it. :p

So there is a chance that I'm thinking of a bizarre dream or fanfiction with this... but was there an episode where Greg accidentally spilled something all over Grissom? I vaguely remember a situation where he ended up covered in something and wanted to kill Greg, but again, I might have dreamed it up  Thanks in advance!

Nope, that didn't happen on the show, but I know how fanfiction can sometimes mess up what was on the show and what you think was on the show.

The only situation that I can think of that could be any bit related, would be when Grissom infected Greg with mildew...as an experiment of sorts. Greg wasn't angry but he did seem a little irritated...but nothing major.
