I can't get over how physically fit he looks these days - I'm so proud of him. Thanks for the enlarged pic, Greatfan....kinda nice seeing the 3 of them together.

I agree about him looking amazingly fit. I really hope that tptb give him some action scenes so he can show it off (although that's not really a priority on my list of things that tptb need to do with Ryan ) I wouldn't even mind if they gave him another suspect chasing scene a la SGIYC, though definitely without a burning building scenario preceding it. Goodness knows they've milked that storyline for all its worth almost as much as they have the 'good cop, morally conflicted cop' routine

He is looking in great shape. (Although, for me, I prefer it when he has a bit of a fuller face.) But he looks healthy, so that is the main thing I suppose.

We are probably accustomed to him having a fuller face.He does look healthy and that is great.

 

Gotta say I was a bit surprised he'd put himself out there like that, but I enjoyed seeing his house too. I specifically enjoyed how he and the designer decided to kept his place very simple, not overwhelming in the decor they used while also blending the modern/tradition styles. Thought it was funny how he won't get rid of his brown couch. LOL

(pure speculation) Over the break I feel like Jon got a wake up call and has focused his energy into rediscovering himself, makes me think of the conversation that has been had multiple times between the CSI's on CSI Vegas, that you need to find a hobby outside of work otherwise you will go mad...it seems to me that Jon has come to this realization and is throwing himself into boxing which is awesome.

No, I don't think you're dreaming at all. I think he's always had an interest in boxing before, but it looks like now he's finally decided to take part in it as well. He's looking really healthy, physically and mentally wise (meaning he's looks happier), he's starting to go out and push his name (the house article), and just really becoming a well-known and well-rounded actor.

I agree nwolfson, but more than likely(again speculation) the wake up call started before the break or hiatus. I also think Jon looks happier and was going to say that in my earlier post but didn't, I guess because that was speculation on my part also,but I do think it's true.

I'm so looking forward to the premiere tonight,hope we will have reason for a good discussion afterwards.

I can definetly see the change! I'm also glad that he's branching out doing new things and putting himself out there. I for one would love to see him in a comedy or in another dramatic role and to see him on a late night talk show...Craig ferguson anyone??
