Marg/Catherine ~ Not JUST A Pretty Face #8

That was a good interview. I had to laugh at her talking about Steven Seagal. I have the feeling that Helgie kinda wonders just what is the heck she was thinking working on that movie. :lol:

 

I love her expression when she said "boyfriend". That was so cute! And one can never get tired of listening to her talking about the amazing George Clooney.

This interview ruined my whole day.Catherine is leaving the show after season 11.

 

I have just one thing to say on the latest M news:



That about sums it up for me.

 

It's sad to hear it'll be her last season but I have to say I'm not surprised. I'm actually surprised she's stayed for so long which has made me pretty happy. I have no idea if I'll continue watching after (if this is not Vegas' last season) I guess it all depends on how much I like season 11. The fact that she'll be in only 19 episodes this season really bugs me cause it irked me everytime she had next to none screentime so I can't begin to imagine a whole episode without her. Sad news .

 

I knew that it was coming but I am still sad.Catherine Willows is just an amazing character so is not easy to let her go.The writers should give her a proper exit that does justice to fans and actress.

 

I have to admit I am pretty sad that Catherine is leaving the show. I was hoping Catherine and Nick would stick around. This really seems to be the year for people to leave the CSI franchise.

 

Well, I'm indifferent here. I am glad that Marg is leaving, but I am sad at the same time, cause Catherine Willows in arguably one of, if not the, best female character on television today. This will give her opportunities to explore other venues, though (COMEDY PLEASE?!) so I can't be too sad.

I am really pissed that they are cutting back her episode time yet again. You'd think that the writers would want to give her as much time as possible in order to give the character a clean/good exit (LOL - I kill me), but nope. I wonder if anyone else has this same "deal."

Oh well, the episodes that M isn't in I will gladly skip in order to grade papers. OLE!

 

It sounded to me like it was Marg's decision to cut back on her episode & screen time.

I'm hoping that she finally gets her wish to have the Cath storyline of looking into the casino world that she inherited. I remember that she wanted that a few years ago after they killed Sam off.

 

Well, I guess I need to start looking for another show to occupy my time. CSI without Marg is like a toothbrush without toothpaste. You can't have one wthout the other. I only watch the show for Marg and Jorja practically...this is sad. The CSI family is dying out. There's going to be nobody left in a minute.

 

Yeah, it looks to me that Marg asked to do less episodes. She asked for 13, but they wanted her to do 19.

I'm sure I'll be sad to see Catherine leave, but at the same time I'm happy for Marg for being willing to move on from this show and try new things. It's about dang time...or should I say it's long-overdue? Talk about mixed feelings. lol.

Well, now that I've cried all my Helgie tears I can't help but hope that she considers doing comedy as her next choice. I'd love to see her in a show like 30 Rock or doing a guest spot on The Simpsons/Family Guy. Helgie you've done enough serious stuff. You'd be great in comedy.

 

Knew it was going to happen sometime, but it's still hard to imagine the show without Marg. But I am glad that they plan to

revisit her inheriting the casino from Sam. I'd always hoped they'd bring him back and say they'd used his being shot as a way to put him in Witness Protection. Maybe we'll get Sam in "flashbacks." I always loved Scott Wilson in that role. My other hope had been that they'd bring Lady Heather back: in her first episode, she and Cat had this wonderful chemistry and similar backgrounds, so I'd hoped they'd become friends. Oh well, just not in the cards, I guess.
