RYAN'S SEASON 8 IN REVIEW

FAVORITE:

EPISODE: Time Bomb

MOMENT:1. The bear scene
2. Sawing the plane scene from Miami we have a Problem.
3.Escorting Stetler out as he was arrested,loved the swagger
in his walk,it was super sexy.
4. Great falldown scene in the finale. His was definitely the best.

OUTFIT:Anything that shows off those great buffed arms and anything that shows his great "rear" assets.

LINE: "You tried to pin this on me? You're going to jail you son of a bitch"-Time Bomb

Favorite funny line: 1." I'll be gentle"- Miami we have a Problem
Another funny line:2. " How many nerd clubs are you a member
of "? to Walter-All Fall Down.

LEAST FAVORITE:

EPISODE:" Bad Seed" This episode had Ryan acting arrogant and stupid at the same time.
" Out of Time" -this episode was just ridiculous as far as screentime time.I felt it also
emphasized a divided team.

MOMENT: Anytime they made him look stupid or lazy


LINE: "I'm hungry"- Sudden Impact. I was angry at Krystal Houghton for a long time after that episode.

THIS SEASON POSITIVE THINGS:
Gets along well with Walter,Natalia and Jesse
We got to see a glimpse of his home,learned that he golfs,
keeps photos of his family around and drives a red SUV.
Appeared to look in better health each and every episode.
Looked hotter each and every episode.
Stuck with Natalia as well as Calleigh during dangerous situations.
Ryan seemed more himself at the end of the season, witty,confident and sexy.


THIS SEASON'S NEGATIVE THINGS
Not enough screen time.
Character assassination early in the season.

I dont think they have ever said that Ryan is from Boston. I thought in that epi you are mentioning that he pulled the murderer from Boston over in Miami, when he was on patrol. That was how they caught the guy- Natalia realised that he most still have been active in the area Ryan pulled him, and then caught him there.

Agree with the reviews that have been posted. I havent watched all of the episodes yet, but I saw the majority, so I may post my Ryan Review in a bit.

FAVORITE:

EPISODE: and tie between Time Bomb and Backfire

MOMENT(S): Ooh there were many...

1. Ryan getting the pleasure of arresting Stetler - I'm sure everybody in the lab wished they were him at that point.
2. Walter and Ryan vs. the Bear (lol!)
3. Ryan freaking out on everyone when he discovers his house is being searched.
4. Ryan trying to rescue victim from Backfire
5. Ryan and Eric at Miami Dade U. running towards the pool
6. Ryan thanking Eric for "having his back" - that was touching.
7. Ryan and Nat in the Meth Lab Explosion - from "Count me Out"
8. The Elevator Scene at the end of "Getting Axed"

OUTFIT: I'm going to have to say he looked 100x better when he finally lost the weight - so any outfits from "Miami, we have a problem" and on I liked. But if I had to choose, my favourite outfit would have to be the one from "Getting Axed" I really liked the pink button up shirt with the blazer and jeans - Although, I miss the shirt and tie thing he did last season...I'm hoping for a revival of that next season

"LA" - not enough of not only Ryan but the rest of the team.

MOMENT:Whenever Ryan was made to look like he was unsure of something and Jesse was - c'mon!

-Time Bomb (for Ryan finally putting the nail in Stetler's coffin. Scene was simply amazing!)

-Miami, We Have a Problem (Lots of RYAN during the entire episode)

-Backfire (Really just enjoyed Jon in this one...)

MOMENT:

Wow. Let's see. I have a few. Hmm..

-Stetler's arrest- Time Bomb

-The bear scene... Ryan with Jesse and Walter- Bone Voyage.

-Ryan to Natalia's rescue- Count Me Out

-Ryan and Jesse playing 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' -In Plane Sight

OUTFIT:

Oooh. There are a few that comes to mind (The red shirt/leather jacket in Count Me Out, The purple shirt in Miami, We Have a Problem, the white tshirt :drool: and white pants in All Fall Down) BUT, my vote for favorite outfit HAS to go to the tshirt and jeans in Time Bomb. Goodness. That's murder! It should be illegal to look that HOT. :drool: LOL! Seriously, I hope they dress him like that more and more next season. Nothing against the other clothes but... ahhh!

LINE:

-"You tried to pin this on me? You're going to jail you son of a bitch." Time Bomb.

-"OH snap! That's the Miami way..." In Plane Sight

-"I'll be Gentle." Miami, We Have a Problem

LEAST FAVORITES:

EPISODE: Hmm. I'm not sure. They were all pretty good to me. I had certain things I hated about different episodes, but over all, didn't really 'dislike' one at all!

MOMENT: Oh! That would have to go to him not knowing what a cougar was in Bolt Action. That was beyond irritating, for some reason.

OUTFIT (ALTHOUGH WE KNOW HE LOOKS GOOD IN ANYTHING): Would also have to say the sweater vest he wore during In Plane Sight. (It was still cute though, for some reason...)

LINE: "I'm hungry." -Point of Impact

THIS SEASON POSITIVE THINGS:

-Newly found friendships with Walter and Jesse. I love the fact someone is on the team who sees Ryan for WHO he is, rather than mistakes he's made in the past.

-He went from looking amazing to looking BEYOND words drop-dead gorgeous! I didn't really pay any attention to the weight gain, just what people pointed out, but at the end of the season... WOW. He looked.... TO good for words. :drool: And his hair! It went from a hotmess to TOTAL HOTNESS!!! *sigh* He was always perfect, but now? Even more so... (if possible!) The last few episodes of season 8 left us with him looking better than ever!

-Showed that he is still caring for the team. (Natalia with her hearing issues. Calleigh in quite a few episodes (most namely, Backfire). Being so forgiving of Delko. Ect, ect!

-Once again, Jon Togo's acting skills TOOK Ryan's character over the top. He surpasses everyone on the show, IMO!

THIS SEASON'S NEGATIVE THINGS:

-MOST definitely the lack of screen time, especially during the first half of the season. It DID improve, but still.

-Not much character development. He only had a couple of episodes to really shine. I would like to see something that tells us even MORE about his past, his family, and his personal life. Something that could go on, and not be BAD, that last for more than one episode.

-To many OOC moments. He was written and re-written more times than I can count. Again, second half of the season did away with the negative character reactions. Would have still loved to have had some sort of explanation for it all.

My personal vote for hottest scene of the entire season?

I'd love to chose this- but there are way to many. I just have to throw out there, the running scene in All Fall Down made my breath stop! :drool: but every scene with him in it is HOT so... *shrugs* I have no clue. Just thought I would add that.

(OH. Him in cuffs, then him arresting Stetler (Time Bomb). Two more extremely HOT scenes.....)

Do you know which season was the best one for Ryan in terms of biggest screentime?
I think it was season 3 but I'm not sure.Season 8 has to be one of the worst.

I'm not sure? But I do know the end of 5/first of 6 was awful! He was fired during the time, and they were hot in heavy with showing Jake. They showed Ryan in every episode (I do believe) but it was VERY minor parts, maybe only for a second.

3 had a good bit, and I'm thinking 4 was pretty fair. 7 was pretty decent. The first half of 8 was HORRIBLE!!!

I agree pretty much with everthing here.Seasons 3 and 4 were good,and the begining of 5 wasn't bad. 6 was really bad especially the start of the season. Cyber-lebrity was the only episode he was featured a lot in.7 was okay,not perfect but it also featured the same two characters working together way too much. The first half of 8 was horrible in almost every way concerning Ryan.

Remember a few weeks back someone on here found that facebook page for a new show called "Teeth - The Series". It said "Jonathan Togo joins during our third episode in February 2011."......Since I have nothing better to do at the moment, I checked out that page again and one of the 17 fans of that page asked if Jon was joining the series as a writer or a regular. The response was "He is joining as a recurring character. He will remain on CSI: Miami during his run on this show." It also says the show is moving to Showtime now and will premiere on Labor Day. I'm still thinking this is some kind of joke. If this was a real series coming out this fall, wouldn't there be more on it somewhere else besides facebook. Has anybody else seen or heard anything on this yet?

I agree. Season 3 and 4 were very good, Ryan screentime wise. So when s5 started, although he didnt do too badly, I was annoyed at the lack of Ryan, I could really see a difference. s6 was horrendous. I was really considering not watching the show anymore then. Thankfully when s7 came along, any amount of screentime was an improvement. I actually didnt think that the beginning of this season was that bad. I didnt like the way they portrayed him alot of the time, but he had an ok amount of screentime- but yeah, it definitely improved in quantity and quality towards the end.

The whole thing seems very dodgy to me.

Season 6 was when I considered not watching also. I actually only watched the episodes until Ryan had his very little screentime and skipped the rest. I did this until Ryan was reinstated. I've since watched the episodes,but I didn't watch a whole episode( with the exception of Cyber-lebrity) of season 6 until "Sunblock".

I agree. I would be willing to bet that there is no show at all.

I suspect this is entirely made up by a fan, & completely false. For one thing, I imagine Lady Gaga has one enormous fanbase/following & if this series were true then this facebook page would not only have 17 fans. She would also be promoting the hell out of it herself if it were true. I've looked all over & have found nothing for this 'series' (with the exception of the lonely facebook page) & none of the actors listed (or networks) have anything related to the series either. It's likely false & nothing to worry about.

Oh, and happy (belated) new thread opening!! LOVEly picture :drool:
I'm very late in conversation here, but I have to agree with those who said season 6 & 7 were quite suckish for Ryan. Here's to a better season 9! :beer:
