Re: Talk LIMS #8: Challenge 7 - Voting! Hey folks, I've noticed in the last few rounds that some of the votes have been getting close to personal preference. I'm not pointing any fingers, but in general just try to watch that. I know it gets harder and harder every round, but it's not impossible. Now, having said that, I still need a lot more votes for this round! Just a reminder that everyone who's participating should be voting please!

Least: 07 - Somewhat dark and appears to be oversharpened. 08 - The texture seems to washout the appearance of the icon as a whole. 13 - Nice crop, but the texture somewhat draws attention away from the subject of the icon. Best: 11 - Gorgeous icon, the frame works well. 05 - Simple yet effective, the texture works well. Gosh, that was difficult, all the icons are amazing!
Re: Talk LIMS #8: Challenge 7 - Voting! Gosh this is difficult! Least 07 - Too dark and oversharpened 01 - The frame is too close to her eyes which looks kinda weird. It's distracting. It would have worked better if it weren't such a close close-up...if that makes any sense... 09 - Looks like not much has been done to the picture itself, regarding sharpening, hue/saturation, etc. The frame doesn't really work either. Best 06 - Nicely done! The text is a nice connection between the background and the frame. 13 - Interesting crop, you tried something different and I like that!

Least 08 - The texture brings the icon out of balance and doesn't add anything to the icon 01 - Her face is to light and the frame is covering to much of her face 04 - The text is difficult to read. I would've made the text stand out more with a darker shadow or stroke. Best 11 07

Least- 7- looks a little oversharpened, also there seems to be a bit too much contrast especially over her face. 1- but its cuts off of alexx's face at a weird spot, and is a little distracting 4- the text is hard to read, and blends into the background in certain spots. Best- 13- i love the crop, its unique and works really well, and i love the softness especially over her face. 5- i love how you made her blend a bit into the background and your use of textures, and the font works really well. this was really hard to choose :/
