OnlyTruth welcome back to the place :) It's good to see you :)

oh no please continue  cause I was hoping for a little 'slip' shall I say  but I guess George had a lot of practice last spring dealing with those suckers.

I missed that line from Nick about playing dead good. I was just so wrapped up in the fact that Nick would be OK. It'll be a hardship but I think I'll go back and watch it this weekend to pick up what I missed.

After all these season I'm still glad George is playing Nick clueless. I loved the line 'Why am I always the last to know' :guffaw:just brillant there Nick :)

I will admit that the season finale 'For Gedda' was good but since we knew that Gary was leaving it wasn't as tense a show as this one was. Knowing but not knowing was hard on the stuffed animal I was holding :D I think it's the best since Grave Danger.

Excellent job George and excellent season. Maybe this year you'll finally get the recognizition you deserve. If not you know that us here salute you for your great season. We hope we get to see you next year :)

Hey OT. Nice to see you visiting. :)

I second that! Please continue. It's nothing we aren't all thinking anyways. And that includes the 'slip' Jacquie. I was kinda surprised that they actually got him not only in the hospital gown but in the hospital bed so soon. He did look like he wanted out though. The legs!!!

I'll admit I did like the "I play dead good" line but not at much as the "Why am I always the last to know" one to Catherine. And Catherine with a smug look on her face.

I've already watched the 3 pertinent clips over on CBS this morning (not on the right computer for caps but I can watch them ) and I will say that Nick did actually get a shot or 2 off before Jekyll shot him.

Nicky was the hero!! :luvlove: :D

Loved the Nick angst we got last night.

He looked great - teasing us with those legs...

Loved how he got to be the hero.

I know I don't post in here but I have to say YOWZA was George so awesome in the finale!! I loved it! He had my heart pounding out of my chest while he lay there, motionless. I was seriously willing the man to MOVE, to BREATHE and when he finally did you should have heard me scream! And the cushion I was holding onto is worse now for the wear!!

I'm so very very glad Nick is ok. And the leg porn... That's a scene I'll be watching, and pausing, often!!

All in all, it was a good episode, maybe didn't quite live up to the hype but it was so awesome to see Nick take down Jekyll, and survive, living to tell the tale.

Big SIGH of relief from me!!

I believe we can all concur with that, Nick3167! :D

Ok, so I saw this online today and just had to do it :D

It was a photo slideshow that was called "What a Man's Dog Says About Him"

    Labrador Retriever
This dog typically attracts an all-American, guy-next-door-type owner. We picture him nonchalantly tossing his pooch a tennis ball and running shirtless, leash in hand. Sure, he may be a tad predictable, given his dog of choice, but when predictable comes with six-pack abs ... we’ll take it.

    Remind you of anyone? ;)

This is from the review on the main page: Nick looks to be in decent shape after the shooting and his heroic save-the-day moment, but will he face any emotional or physical repercussions from the shooting?

IMO, he was shot in the shoulder, so I would think he would be sore for a while and I hope that they make mention of it. They shouldn't just have him be perfectly fine one-two-three.

The same goes with the emotion repercussions - he was shot and he killed someone, that has got to do something to you emotionally. I would like the writers to deal with that a little bit.

Anything physical they pretty much have to show. They ended the ep with Langston getting stabbed which I would think means that they have to start next season at that point. Which means that Nick should still have his arm in a sling and a bandage on his neck. For how long who knows! :shifty: They used to start each season in real time but when they started having cliffhangers they started having weeks happening between episodes to catch-up with real time within the first couple of months.

Emotional, I don't know. This is a fictional story - not reality. If it's needed as part of the story (like in Gumdrops or Shooting Stars) then sure, go ahead. But I don't particulary want a scene shoved in an episode where it doesn't fit in (like the Sara & Grissom convo in the middle of Snakes for instance) just to show that Nick is suffering emotional repercussions from shooting someone. I guess what I'm saying is that if they want to do it then they need to do it right. They can't just show it they need to show the reason that it surfaced.

ETA: I would also think that Nick would have to deal with IAB for shooting someone. After all Langston did - it was mentioned in Family Affair.

I noticed watching Family Affair last night that Nick's hand was shaking a little when he went to pick up his little arachnid friend. No wonder he had such a pleased look on his face once he'd done it.

I think we can take this as a hint on how the emotional repercussions will go for Nick. It's what he said to Langston in Family Affair about Ray's shooting someone. I think it'd be harder on him if he'd shot a kid, this guy was a definate life-or-death situation.

"Kill or be killed. Terrible situation to be in. Don't let it bother you."
