    Hi, Im one of the new kids on the block and wanted to say HEY!! LOL.
    I hail from NY, born and raised in the downtown area and can identify with most of the CSI/NY areas shown on the show.
    I have a question and hope it doesnt seem too stupid, dont know the names of the eps but can describe the ones that leave an impression. I saw or think I saw an ep where Stella was sleeping with the Lab geek guy, his name escapes me now, was I dreaming or did this happen?
    Also an ep with these compasses, the ending the bad guy walks away into the sunset, lol. Does anyone know if there is a prt 2 to this ep. I hope I did not sound too dumb.

    Hey and welcome to the forum. It is very nice to see you here. I want to wish you a great weekend as well.

    You are not dreaming, Stella was sleeping with Adam (the lab tech). It was in premiere of season 6 (the first episode, also named Epilogue).

    When it comes to the Compass Killer, there were 3 episodes with him. I checked quickly, and in the first episode (06x03 named LAT 40-¦ 47 N Long 73), he walked away in the end of the episode. It was not in the sunset though. Could it be this episode that you meant? It's the only episode where he actually walks away. Am unsure if you have seen the other episodes, so won't spoil too much. The compass killer is coming back in episode nummer 8 (6x08 also named Cuckoo's next) and number 9 (6x09 also named Manhattanhenge). Have you seen those? If not, you will see the story continue.
