Usually I don't read many spoilers, just general info about an episode, but this one looks great.

Did anyone else giggle  at TPS reports???

TPS reports and Lombard/Lumbergh?? I'm surprised the guy didn't complain about the "cake to people ratio" being too low!

Overall, I liked it, but not as much as the first two episodes. There were a lot of not-so-subtle hints again about Ray's dad and the "killer gene". I hope they don't drag it out too long.

Does anyone know if this clip is posted elsewhere, because it is yet another evil "not available in your country" clip. :(

Okay what can I say about this episode was okay, though definetly not my favorite so far. I did like we got to Catherine more in this episode compared to last week. I prefer not knowing who committed the crime from the beginning, but at least the writers changed it up a bit for us. Let's see can't really say much else yet cause I got to rewatch the episode cause I had to do my math homework and study for chemistry so I could only half pay attention to the episode.

    Homework is evil! :scream:

So I watched this episode and it was okay. Nothing great, nothing terrible, just okay.
I did like how they sort of revealed the story of why this guy basically killed this other guy through the ep, but then it took away from seeing some of our CSI's, oh except Ray of course. He is always everywhere and I am growing really tired of it.

    Side notes:
What was up with Hodges and the little lesson video he was in? Is he doing something on the side he should not be? I have a feeling that will come into play in a future episode.

We got a bit more Catherine. About the same amount of Greg as last week, :( Saw some Wendy and Archie :)

Did they ever say why the killer guy tried to get the chip out of the dead guy's arm? Did I miss that?

One comment that made me laugh was Greg's seemingly disappointed view on all workplaces blocking porn websites.

Well, we technically knew who the killer was from the beginning last week, so... :p

Yeah still not enough Greg, honestly didn't really care about the guy who was the killer and I also missed why he wanted that chip too. They might have explained it at some point or other. When the episode gets put up I got watch it again. Okay I'm now officaly starting to get a little sick of Ray the guy seemed to be in almost every scene if it continues like this I will be very very annoyed. Nice to Archie again, and at least they stayed from Greg doing Archie's job again.

Yeah, what is it with CSI's having 'killer genes'? Ray, Catherine, Sara...all seem to have killers in the family.

I didn't care for Ray being pissy with Wendy.
This was basically the same premise as "killer" from a few seasons ago, and I didn't care for that episode very much, so it's not a surprise that this is one of my least favorite episodes in quite a while. For the first time in a long time, I actually changed the channel during the show. Police Women of Broward County looked a lot more interesting than watching all of the B-O-R-I-N-G stuff with those office people that they had WAY too much emphasis on in this episode. The show is called CSI for a reason. They have other shows that focus on office people. There's a reason I usually watch CSI and not those other office shows.

Why does Brass always get to talk to the dweebs? Poor, suffering Brass.

I did like the visual effects at the beginning where they had the guy walking backward as they were following his footsteps in reverse. That was a bit of a new wrinkle.

There were some nice Catherine scenes and *gasp* OMG! We actually saw WENDY!! It occurred to me after I saw Officer Akers appear in the beginning that Akers has actually had more screentime this season than Wendy has - and yet Liz is the one in the opening credits. Go figure.

Yeah I was not a huge fan of "Killer" either since the show is about the CSI's and not so much about the killers. That is more for Criminal Minds to focus on.
But then again it was better than all of those scenes being filled with possibly more Ray than we already had.

I thought the ep was a bit boring to be honest. I give it 2 out of 5 stars and a D-.

Honestly, I didn't like all the scenes with the flashbacks of "10 days ago" or whatever cause it took away from main characters' time... except as you said for Ray. They're always sure to never leave him out. He got 14 scenes in this episode, far more than the others. Nick had 12. Cath and Brass had better screentime, 7 and 8 scenes respectively. Once again not nearly enough of Greg, actually less than last week by one scene. And like you, I'm growing tired of it being The Ray show.

They were doing so well in the premiere, but then it just went back downhill from there... even though Sara wasn't in this episode they managed to have even worse screentime balance than in the episodes she was in. Yeesh! I challenge tptb to actually count the number of scenes for each character before doing the final revise of the script (they probably don't do this) maybe then they'll see how freaking unbalanced it is. I'm back again to thinking maybe this should be their final season. If they can't do better with the screentime, then its time to end it. I thought that before the season started, but then the season premiere was so good that I thought (foolishly) that things would get better, sadly that is not the case. :(

I was wondering about that too.

When was this? I missed the first minute of the show I think. I came in when Nick and Ray were at the crime scene and Nick mentioned being mad enough to kill someone once (McKeen, I'm sure). Was there a Greg scene at the beginning that I missed?

I didn't like that either... I actually found myself wishing someone would overhear him and say something to him about it. Not a good way to endear the character to the shows fans, ptb. Poor Wendy. :( I mean seriously, do they want us to like or hate the character? Because when they write him snapping at someone like poor Wendy, it doesn't exactly sit well with people. I didn't care for him rolling his eyes at her when she was just saying what she'd heard/read about that gene being linked to killers. "Don't shoot the messenger" comes to mind.

I totally agree with you. I didn't change the channel (because I was recording it for someone else), but I kind of wish I had gone into the livingroom and watched Supernatural (which I was taping in there). I know for a fact Supernatural would have been a heck of a lot more entertaining than this episode of CSI.

 Always a silver lining in there somewhere isn't there?

 SuperDave plotted revenge against classmates in comic book form. Hehehe.

Cath: Not everything I wear out has pockets.
Doc: I'll buy you a purse. *cute*

Vic: It's a little like getting a vaccination... without the autism. I hated that they had him laugh after that line. Autism is no laughing matter, dude! Epic fail with that line! I found it quite rude that they used this trying to be funny when there is absolutely nothing funny about autism!

Hodges looking at himself on the computer screen was kind of funny.

Rubber hose? Eww! Can't you just use the "M" word? It's not as gross sounding.

Woah! That computer thing is weird with the victim on the screen and moving with whomever is moving in front of the camera. Freaky! How did he do that?

the dude who stole the dead guy's laptop reminds me a little of Michael aka Meathead from All In the Family.

    Desi/Lucy.

Greg: Unless Mr. Lombard's case of explosive diareah (sp?) counts, we struck out.

Vic: There's an app for that. Plug! Plug!

What did the killer put in that girl's purse? Did they ever come back to that? I might have missed that.

Wow! A mention of Sam! I'm shocked!

Mythbusters Style. Nick. But why couldn't Greg have been helping Nick with that instead of Ray? I'd kind of like to see Greg in that welders get-up.

 That song gets me every time it starts... I always think it's "Ice Ice Baby". Nope, just "Under Pressure".

Ow! The thing with the door... that looks painful.

Not my favorite but not bad. Could have been worse (could have been better).

It reminded me a lot of the season six episode "Killer". I liked the bad guy in that episode better than this one though.

Was the bad guy the same guy from "O Brother, Where Art Thou"?

I've discovered that if they have Greg in more then two scenes, I'm happy. As a glass-half-full kind of guy, I try to be optimistic. The first three eps this season have had more Greg than most of Season 9 so I'm good :) Does need more Catherine though.

I loved the mentions to Nick almost killing someone (McKeen) and Sam Braun memories. I miss Sam :(

Wendy should kick Ray's @$$!! That wasn't cool dude.

Lots of funny scenes though. I felt Hodges was breaking the fourth wall during the DESI explanation.

I remember the mention of porn and office computers, but wasn't looking at the TV. Now I really want to see Greg's face.

Like I said, not super good. Wasn't bad but could have been better. I'm still psyched for the season though so I still have high hopes.:)
