I knew he looked familiar. ;)

And yea, Catherine did have her supervisor moments. Which are great. Also proving she can handle the job. :D

I thought that the A story with "Rascal Flatts" was lame an borng. I'm not a country music fans so they didn't get it for me. The one music icon from "The Who" who did an extrodinary acting job, was Roger Daltry in "Living Legend" as Mickey Dunn, many different faces, and he was so good, I thought he'd be up for a Emmy nomination. And as far as the group's acting ability, their a music group so that kinda of explains it all~Nick was great as always "Someone is jerking us around" and always wants to get to the bottom of whatever is going on. Cath and Greg also great!

The B story was incredible, and could have really taken up the entire hour. Intriguing, suspensful and with the CIA, Germans/Nazi's, drugs, intense. Finding the bloated body in the lake gross such good visuals as always from the graphics team. Ray with his expertise working so closely with Sara and her feedback. Watching them in one scene standing together, with the same gap in ther front teeth, cute;) Ray and Doc the guy had stage 4 cancer, so what or who killed him? Sara, she's so pretty. Hodges and Ray. "My father liked to fish, he never took me with him" I would bake cookies with my mother" To Ray "did you father ever take you fishing" Ray:"NO" So the associate director Greg Hallaway calls Cath, and lied saying he was "in his office" and he was standing by the lake. The victim was Vance Colton, a CIA agent.~

Nick almost sawing the classic guitar and Doc running amok on him.. funny:lol:

Ray and Sara at the house, and Hallaway greets them his agents, clearing away all the itmen in the house. Sara: "Since when is a mattress a national security issue"? and then seeing someone taking photos of them from afar.. spooky:eek: Then Ray and Sara entering the empty house. Ray "They either didn't know what they were looking for, or didn't want anybody else to take it" The delivery of his dialogue is so precise and perfect:thumbsup:

The go down to the lake, a canoe is missing, them sharing ideas and theories the GSR reference from Sara. "Grissom and I went looking for bugs in a canoe when we were on our honeymoon" Ray listening and smiled. The what if's between them~

Nick and the 'bimbo' fan with the guitar she found in the trash. Nick 'I hate to break it to you sweetie, but this is evidence" and she has a tizzy fit, so Greg goes' Maybe we can get you an autograph"

Brass and Halladay with his pyschobabble, the son shows up, and says he hated his dad~

Sara and Ray still processing evidence at the lake Some Germans show up saying Ray talks over and confronts them they say "their just enjoying the scenery" He speaks German to them wow, who knew? Sara: "This is a bunch of crap" Ray : "It's illegal to shoot fish in Nevada" and his sly grin~

Hodges finds Coltons book on line Confirm Nothing, Deny Everything Archie tells Ray that the German Netty candidate is like Obama. Ray in his grey jacket and maroon shirt, he dresses so impeccably, so spiffy. Ray comes to the conclusion, that they were looking for the tape~

Nick experiementing with the AC/DC outlet and realizing the connececton was screwed up~

Ray and Henry and the Sarin "Saddam used it against the Kurds in the 80's" Archie find out the son is staying at the 'Blue Siren Motel", Brass and Sara go there, but the German guys had already shot Larry the son. What's awesome about Ray is how he shares his ideas and theories and listens to the other team members as well, never telling anyone or ordering anyone about~Henry wants to read the book, by Ray says "he has to return it" then we see Ray in a bar:wtf: drinking what looked like Bourbon. unusual, when have we ever seen him drinking in a bar? Halladay shows up, and plays cat and mouse with Ray Ray "we both know what killed him it was the Sarin you gave him" He wrote the book online and wanted it to be his legacy instead of dying "a sick old man" Hallladay in a round about way offered Ray a job, and then brought up his dad "did he ever talk about Viet Nam to you"? Ray and his perplexed expression:confused:

So the electrical tech. changed the socket to give the guy a short jolt that was out of control, so he could go on stage. Flimsy:rolleyes: And on Nick "Just because I'm from Texas, doesn't mean I like Country Music"

I loved the part B story, that's CSI, in all it's glory.. and feel honored that Laurence Fishburne is in this role. He has an overwhelming powerful presence, and has brought his talent and expertise to the show. A master of all he surveys He's a big, rugged, hunk and sexy, but with a sweet, gentle persona, an appealing combination. He's confident & self-assured, without being arrogant or conceited, also appealing. He's brought class, style and elegance to CSI ~

Not necessarily. I like country music (not just country, but ...) and I wouldn't mind having to cut the guitar if my job required it. I wouldn't even think twice about it. And I actually play guitar (somewhat). Funny thing is, if it were a nice classic sports car, i would think twice about it and I don't even like driving.

Highly, highly disagree. I do NOT ever want to see Greg physically hurt again! EVER! They are always picking on my favorite guys in these shows. Greg and Nick on Vegas, Ryan on Miami, Adam on NY and to some degree Reid on Criminal Minds. Pick on someone else for a change and leave the cute/cool/sexy geeks and the hot Texan alone please!

I thought both cases were kind of boring to be honest. I just liked the things some of the characters said/did. The CIA case was fine until they showed the "mysterious taking of the CSIs pictures". I worried there for a second that it was gonna be Russian Mafia related like on Miami. And the German consulate guys or whatever they were ... I didn't like that in the episode. That scene was pointless to me except for the fact that I loved how Sara whipped out her gun when Ray said "he's got a gun". I don't know what it was, but there was something about the way she did that that I really liked. And of course Ray's line that made me chuckle about not being allowed to shoot fish in Nevada. But the rest of it? Meh...

Although the funniest part to me was when the RF guy said "they're not getting my fingers". :guffaw: I thought his delivery of that line was spot on. His rapping was not very good though.

And the guy who played the dead CIA guy (in the canoe) was also Doyle "Candyman" Pfeiffer in "Revenge is Best Served Cold". :)

I was actually embarrassed for the writers of this episode. The intro was way too long and drawn out...basically a music video for Rascal Flatts. And speaking of Rascal Flatts, I didn't expect their acting to be convincing, but this was ridiculously bad, not to mention boring as hell.

I somehow forced myself to watch the whole episode, basically to see Greg, but even he couldn't save it.

The CIA part might have been interesting had it been more fleshed out.

Maybe the writers are running out of ideas.

I liked this episode, it was fun. But it wasn't the best. I loved the song and the shock scene was dramatic without being over the top. I loved the way Catherine was flirted with in the hospital and Greg's reaction to it was really funny and cute. Also Greg's reaction to the guy who lost his fingers.

But speaking of Greg, there wasn't enough of him to keep me completely happy although I still enjoyed the episode. Plus I always love to see Greg and Nick working together. The scene with the guitar girl was really funny too. One of my fave lines:

girl: "His fingers are still on it"

Nick: Oh I hope so, don't you Greg?"

Ray and Sara not so much. Is is just me or did Sara's hair look darker? The CIA guy seemed very Horatio-like. I am hoping that Ray joins the CIA and leaves CSI.

The scene with the German guys - boring and stupid. Sara pulling her gun was very dull and unexciting. *Yawns*

Hodges is beginning to stock Langston just like he did Grissom. The writers have no imagination.

Once again we had to be reminded that Grissom and Sara are married, because I almost forgot they were. Thank you writers for keeping that fresh in our minds. (that's sarcasm in case you don't know)

    I rate this ep a 6.5 of 10

I really liked the episode and I also thought both cases were very interesting.

Catherine was really kick ass in this one, the way she talked to the CIA guy. That again proves that she's a great supervisor and leader.

The scene with Nick and Greg in the groupie's appartement was very funny and so was the scene where Nick is about to slash the Rascal Flatts guitar.

The Ray storyline, with his father, is getting more interesting every episode. That's the only personal information we have on Ray, but I really want to know what the deal is with his father. I also liked Ray and Sara as a team.

I'm not a Rascal Flatts fan, but the end scene was nice. Especially when you see Catherine and Nick enjoy their music (and Nicks smile :) ).

Nice episode, can't wait 'till next week (well... I have to).

Both cases were predictable but I liked the episode anyway.Catherine as the boss is awesome. She can go head to head with any guy.But also she can get a guy to flirt with her.She and Nick are a good team too.And the music was good.

But Where is my sarcastic Brass? I miss him:(

I have to agree with most of you. The CIA case is more interesting than the Rascal Flatt's. I actually thought that it would be a part of another story line aside from Dr. Jekyll. I like it when the CSIs are threatened by outside people. As usual, Sara and Ray are great working together. Grissom is mentioned. Nice! Hodges is hiding something on his computer!

The Rascal Flatts case is predictable. Travis taking over Jay is suspicious at first look. Usually, I'm not guessing who the suspect is but in this episode, it's too obvious. But it's fine with me. I like their song. Catherine is always gorgeous. No wonder why Jay's flirting with her.

All in all, a good episode! Not the best, not the worst, just fine. This season has been so good so no episode under the worst category yet. 9/10

I'm in the middle of this episode right now... the opening was basically Rascal Flatts publicity... and they cannot act at all.

I wonder what Hodges was so eager to delete from his work computer. I bet it had something to do with how he feels about Wendy.

The episode was okay. I think that the CIA story should have been the front runner story. Rascal Flatts did an okay job. These guys are NOT actors, they are musicians and their first acting job. I didn't think Taylor Swift did such a great job either. Like, Rascal Flatts, she was just okay. I was surprised that they played themselves in the show though. I enjoyed it because I absolutely LOVE Rascal Flatts, and I got to drool over JoeDon Rooney!:drool::drool:
