This romance has been a long time coming.
As CSI Files previously reported, the relationship between Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) and Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter) is going to enter romantic territory this season on CSI: Miami. "I think it will be really interesting to (see them) go through the highs and the lows together," Rodriguez said during a conference call, as reported by the Boston Herald. "There has been this chemistry between these two characters for so long, but because the love was never explored, it's probably stronger than it would be if it was just two people meeting on the first day of work. We have seven years of history."
During that time, Rodriguez said, the fans have been asking about the relationship. "I always get, 'When are you going to hook up with the hot blonde?'" He said. Procter said she's looking forward to the romance. "For so long, we were just staring at each other from across the table," she explained, "so for me, it's nice to see this relationship develop."
"Our characters get a chance to be fallible and go through the obstacles of making a mistake and have something to learn or something to overcome," Rodriguez shared. "We're all still growing. No one has gotten to the point where we're almighty and never wrong and doing the same exact thing all the time." Procter added that she's curious to see how a love scene would play out between the two characters: "I wonder what kind of techno music that will happen to."
The original information is from the Boston Herald.
