Greg/Ryan - Florida isn't that far away...

Yeah. This would be my third favorite pairing.

Weird, huh? A pairing that has absolutely no canon evidence? That's one reason I love this pairing, all you have to go on is the characters' individual traits. We don't have any prerequisite for how they act around each other, leaving much more to imagination. That's why fanfiction is great for this pairing.

Speaking of fanfiction, there's very little Greg/Ryan, because it's crossover and has never been seen. The only one I can think of is "The Thin Yellow Line" which is posted at fanfiction.net and written by rivensky. There's also a LiveJournal community, Nerds With Badges, for all things Greg and Ryan.

The best thing is Jon Togo has said himself that if he and Eric Szmanda ever worked together as a crime-fighting team they would be "Nerds With Badges", hence the LJ name

I'm working on a multi-part Greg/Ryan fic as we speak that features Greg going to Miami on a visit and having to stay longer than expected when a murder occurs.

I really like the idea of Greg/Ryan because they would be great together. They're very different people, but a relationship would work very well. Greg is spontaneous, hyper, while Ryan is more calm, cautious. Opposites attract? That's the way I see it.

Oh, and they're both so hot. They'd look damn good together

I would love to see a Vegas/Miami crossover episode that involves Ryan and Greg working together. *collapses onto his knees and begs TPTB*

Ok! I'm not expecting a huge rush of support for this, lol, but I just wanted to get the idea out there! Yay for the hotness that is Greg and Ryan. Squee!

I've read it more than once too! There's also an "interlude" fic, a chapter after TTYL, and the writer said a while ago that there would be a whole 'nother "book." I haven't heard anything about it since though. Ooooh.

Huge as in I see fanfic everywhere, and in most RPGs I've seen they're paired off.

So, how would we get these two guys together? A forensics convention? Would they hit it off right away, or annoy each other?

The most likely would be a forensics conference (they both started CSI around the same time...) or a case working together that requires LV to travel to M or vice versa. There are other random meetings, like in my fic they meet on a plane, thengettoknoweachotheralittlebetter, then part ways, then meet again in a twist of fate! And then there's always the wonderful world of AU :lol:

I think they'd get along well initially. I just don't see Ryan being put off by Greg's offbeat-ness. Ryan could be shy though, the love at first sight making him introverted. Greg would eventually get him to open up and then the love ensues. Yay!
