Well in my opinion this episode was incredible. I hope CBS will get the order for the series. Ryan Avery- great character and I want to see what producers will do with new series if they get a first season.

Well, THAT was great! I'm really looking forward to seeing the pilot for the potential spin off. Though I thought it was a little bit too much acting and posing (like that Horatio Caine posing at the end, just without the sunglasses), I enjoyed this one very much. A highly interesting plot.

If "CSI: Cyber" or whatever it is supposed to be called gets picked up I bet the theme song will be "I Can See for Miles" by The Who.

I really liked this one, and I don't say that lightly because I've been very disappointed with CSI this year. I liked the character of Ryan, and I can see myself watching the new show. I'm not sure how it will be without "our" guys in it like they were last night, but I'll give it a try. This episode exceeded my expectations.

I posted before that I'd like 'I Can See For Miles' to be the theme song for this show. I do feel stalked by the creators. :alienblush:
Personally, I had some vision years ago that if a CSI spinoff were to happen, that they would have 'I Can See For Miles' as the theme song.

At first, I was not excited about a new CSI spinoff, after the cancellation of New York and Miami. And I still don't know how a television series based on cyber crimes would work, since I've never seen something like that before. I do hope it works. And I'm still trying to stay interested in CSI, especially with the way it's being written lately. I do have hopes for this spinoff and I hope to see the pilot for it.

I do enjoy this episode, but I am hoping that Avery Ryan would be written well for the spinoff. Someone I can continue watching. Nick obviously can't avoid her from the looks of it. And I love Brass in charge at the beginning. Sad, that I'm gonna miss seeing him. I'd watch this episode again. An A-.

Well Rena You have right, last scene was like Miami :D however sad that CSI adjusted down in finals... 1.7 in 18-49 it's not good I think.

    a two tracks episode.
Track A: CSI. The episode “sounds” in a good way, because it has a wide dynamic range. it starts with a Fortissimo, with the roaring and growling Brass (and the barking dog...;)) and with Stokes, who is on the road, wearing his cop’s dress. Then a sudden Piano comes, with Db and Sanders, then...well, it’s ok.
We get some “creepy” moments with those ugly frame rate shifts that remind me of Miami. Once they were cool, now they look so vintage...
As usual, they cannot spare us some craps: why does Ryan need to smudge the glass? Does she think they don’t know what an iceberg is??? Do they really need to know that she works under the surface, deep inside the darkest and most hidden bottom of the cyberdome? Before her explanation, did they think she was a cheaters and trolls hunter?
Only 30 seconds of Brass-Stokes. Unfortunately, we won’t get these scenes anymore; it’s too bad, because, in these dreary times, they were the best moments of the show. Too much BD and some boring Kammerspiel between Ryan and DB. Ok, they needed to introduce the character, but a greater variety would have been appreciated, even because most of the time the rest of the main characters look as they were spectators (or pupils, like in the iceberg scene)...
BTW: The ubiquitous DB has surpassed Langston in the Screentime ranking...

TRACK B: Arquette is ok, but they have to refine the character, soften something: she is too psyched, involved; there are "too much bowels" in her work; they must prevent the “Joan of Arc” and the “Know it all” effects. Any other comment is premature; we have to know something about the production, direction, cast and characters.
either way, the rating isn’t encouraging: just the season’s average; nine episodes got a better rating. It could mean that nobody is eagerly waiting for another spinoff...

I enjoyed the episode very much. I really hope that CBS picks it up. Who knows maybe if they don't pick up Intelligence they'll have Marg on the new CSI, cause didn't Katherine join the FBI for a new crime department?

Oh that will be huge. It will be first character of all series like this? Or I miss something?
