I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but what the hell is Mac doing on his own in a hotel in London? Why isn't he staying with Peyton? Or her family? And where the hell is she? Certainly not sharing his bed.....

I was wondering that myself... is there trouble in paradise between Mac and Peyton? How long will we have to wait to find out the nature and extent of it? Stay tuned, boys and girls!

I give it a Freaking A+ cause it was Awesome .
Are you kidding me that scene in the Statute of Liberty was extremely good, and the thing with Mac and the 3:33 was so freaking creepy, I got my bff to watch the show and she got hooked into it to, Mac was as always a HOTTie.
Stella, Mi Bella Stella, she like always is beatiful and her italian was expectacular, Love it just like her greek.
The part about the spray on condom had me like WTF cause I asked myself the same thing Danny asked.
This episode was the bomb but it doesnt compare to SNOW DAY cause that epi was freaking awesome.
For u D/L fans i HOPE U ENJOY THIS SEASON,
for me a SMACked Shipper is kinda a different thing cause in Tv GUide it said that Stell was going to fall for another bad guy, what is it with her and hot bad guys.
    Anyway AWESOME.

Mac and Peyton- there is obviously no trouble in paradise because there i that lipstick mark as evidence! I reckon that Mac being the person he is insisted that he stayed in the hotel alone while peyton stayed with her family because she obviously hasnt seen them for a while!

While I understand where you are coming from. Face it, there's only two people on the DVD box and Anna Belknap ain't one of them.

I for one love the new intro (After watching it half a dozen times on Youtube)...

It was a good episode. I like the episodes where the whole team works one case, mostly because everyone gets a fare share of screen time.

The new song! Well, I said it will most likely grow on me.. I was wrong! The more I hear it, the more I hate it! Cutting out the “I don't need to fight, To prove I'm right,I don't need to be forgiven, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeaaah.” is murder! Whoever made that decision deserves a interrogation with a highly pissed off Flack! WTF?! Those lines are the essence of the show, the definition of who Flack, Danny, Stella are. I seriously want the S 1-3 song back!

The images used for the opening are ok. Flack’s & Stella’s are great, but I miss Danny’s smile. :( And Robert and AJ should have been in the openings too.

The scene with Mac and the dummy .. I felt like watching Matrix. WTF?
But I liked seeing a bit of the S1 Mac back. Happy Mac is ok but is good to see for a while the serious “what’s sleep? ” Mac. And the 333 thing? They made me curious about that...

I love Stella! She looks great, and as always, perfect performance. Ohh, and how cool was to have Rambo! Stella back! Running on the stairs with high heels on? No one can do it better than Stella! Though, gotta say it. Stella flirting with the killer? How predictable was that? So, new rule, if Danny thinks he’s a good guy & Stella wants to date him… he’s your man Flack! Get him! loool But at least I got the satisfaction that she shot him. For a sec I thought that since Flack figured out the “door was locked, the killer had the key” think the next scene will be trapped – like and will see him and Mac storming in and saving Stella. But, no thanks, Stella can save herself just fine! Loved that!

Danny.. just gorgeous in white. You guys are right. He did look tired. And when not tired he looked bored, irritated or pissed off. If there is a cause behind this effect, can’t wait to see it! I’m starting to believe that Lindsay really is sucking his energy. Pls TPTB! May I take that as a sign? :p

If that was Carmine, hugs for him! A weak & most likely only connection to "Snow Day", but I’ll take what I can get.
I loved seeing him talking to Nova. Danny being sympathetic felt right, even if they didn’t have much chemistry.
Straddling, suspended in a harness Danny.. I’ll keep my thought upon this matter to myself!

The scene with the spray-on condom was a little forced. It was ok, made me smile, but, didn’t felt smooth! Something was missing…

Oh, and have to mention that I loved seeing that Danny was anything and everything but mushy with Lindsay. Both in the webcam scene & the condom one. I was afraid that they’ll make him all staring and “love you more”, but I think were safe! :p
Where does it, uh ... how?... Nevermind! looool I love you Danny!

Hawkes got a fare share of screen time. :) And the looking at Danny & Lindsay and saying “Incompatible” is a classic! Love you for that! Loooool

Lindsay in the lab, out of the way & on light scenes… Thank you TPTB! I’ve made it through the episode without an indigestion! But, the attempt to be cute and funny with Adam, failed. She was out of place!

Flack, oh let me count the ways I love thee!
He did it again! How can an already perfect man, be even hotter? ;)
He is definitely stronger than in S3. The way he was talking on the radio after seeing the orange guy on the roof, was so confident and secure! Did he got a promotion after SD? That would explain it! He was never shy or insecure, but now he’s more bold ( & beautiful) than ever.
Loved his blind closing : he can see us! lol He’s adorable when he’s being all the cop he can be!
The Danny & Flack chase scene! Perfection : jumping, leaping, running, Danny’s trip! Beautiful cuffing scene! Flack: Got him? Danny: Got him. Who needs more words, when they can read their mind? …
Flack interrogating the perp. Brilliant! He even literally draw the picture to the man! lmao
And the best, saved for the end! First he gets a little defensive ( are you saying we got the wrong guy? ) when Mac says the guy didn’t kill anyone else but Maria. Does that count as continuity from Consequences? Later he leaves, obviously not a happy man, but comes back 3 secs later to turn on the light on the case! The guy with the key, people!
Flack my dear, you are love!

I guess I’ll have more to say after I read you all!

Exactly! Yuck! TPTB, Don’t. Ever do that again! Just because it’s cute when Carmine does it, don’t mean it will be cute on her too. Don’t ever wanna see that again.

Pretty good ep. Glad to see Mac returned from London without Peyton and there was good Mac/Stella interaction. Not enough Danny and Lindsey though. I don't mean I necessarily expected an immediate follow-up to their romantic activities of last season's finale I just mean they weren't in it -- in any sense -- enough.
And while I honestly do LIKE Flack, this ep once again inspires me to ask: What, exactly, is his official title? He seems to be a homicide detective/SWAT team member/bomb squad specialist/vice squad detective/public relations liasion!!

:( This I didn't wanna read! 3 million viewers is huge! I hope it will get better!

I just don't get it! They made the show brighter 'cause it was too dark  , D/L are CANON, they made the lab prettier, they changed the outfits, they sexed up the show.. D/L are CANON, they undressed Danny. Stella, Mac, Danny, Lindsay got a love interest along the way! Danny was too real of a man so they made him be a numb Ken doll. They added a twist of One tree hill and Days of our crimelab enough to cause nausea to some of us. So, what's the problem?

Guess it's just me, but maybe it's time to go back to the basics, to real nature of CSI NY.

   The point of staking is to drive you're victim nuts, not the other way around!

ETA : Guys, watch this , and then this. Was that so hard TPTB? I don't need to say which one I like better.

I don't like the new credits! The original one had this awesome buildup to the tune and I loved the line, "I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right, I don't need to be forgiven" because I've always thought that represents NYC and the show so much. Both of which they took out :(

    CONS
    - Lack of continuity. Where's the griveously injured Adam and Danny whom we left not even a month ago (in the show)? Nope, no scars, no emotional traumas, all happy dandy in The World of SuspendedDisbelief.
    - I figured out the killer the moment he appeared. Maybe it was just the way he tried to be way too nice, or the fact that he looked shady but I figured it was him right off the bat. Stella suddenly remembering the old case was too convenient too.
    - Lindsay *roll eyes* So yes, she's less annoying but what's with her high ground act with Adam? Calling him 'socially awkward' teasingly, okay, that's sort of acceptable but then going all pushy and demanding about him being late? I don't think you fared that much better last season, Miss Know-It-All
    - That new lab girl Kendall. Why is she speaking like a robot? LOL. It was hilarious to hear her recite the information she got to Stella. No emotion whatsoever. So awkward it was funny.
    - Stunt casting failed. As (not surprisingly) expected. Come on, guys, there must be better actresses out there than a pretty singer who can barely deliver a line...
    - I'm not sure if they explained why the killer from the cold case killed the other girl or did I miss it? That was kinda out of nowhere.

    PROS
    - Great start to the episode, the shots of London and then the Statue of Liberty covered with blood and various clues left behind was really intriguing.
    - Danny & Flack chasing down a perp. Awesome! Their chase scenes are always so fun to watch. They just have so much understanding with each other. And it's funny how sometimes they won't even interact with each other during the whole episode but when there's some chasing and running to do, it'll be them doing the dirty work :p
    - Rambo!Stella and Insomniac!Mac from S1 seems to be making a return, even if Mac has a potentially worrying reason for him being awake with him receiving prank calls at 3.33 am. But Stella taking down the guy at the end was just superb.
    - Danny seemingly annoyed at Lindsay throughout this episode (hahahah). I don't know, maybe it's just me but he's snappish and curt with her in all their conversations. And then his expression when she placed that spray condom thing in his pocket was just damn hilarious. He's like, "What the hell do you want me to do with this?!"
    - Flack, Flack, Flack. Funny, aggressive, sharp, the most consistent character of the show. Please don't ruin him with a Paris-wannabe storyline, writers. He deserves better.

Overall, pretty exciting and I'm looking forward to Mac's development with the "prank callers".

    I give it a B+.

    - My point exactly! They cut out the soul of the show! :(

    - Don't remember,so I suppose they didn't mention that!

    :( From here.

CBS, meanwhile, better hope that an awful lot of people set their TiVos to record Criminal Minds and CSI: NY, because the overnight numbers weren't comforting. At 9 p.m., Mandy Patinkin's unfond farewell on Criminal Minds got squeezed out by Bionic Woman and Private Practice, ran third in viewers (12.7 million) and lost 3 million armchair detectives from last fall's premiere. At 10 p.m., CSI: NY was the hour's most watched show (12.7 million), but was about 3.5 million viewers lighter than last fall's opener.

    web page

"CSI: NY" carried the hour in overall audience but was down about 3 million viewers from last year's premiere. It moved to the demo lead in both 18-49 and 25-54 at 10:30 and figures to reclaim the hour overall next week.

    Hope so!

No, I don't. I don't like his sexy manbod. I don't like his incredible, nibble-worthy arms. I don't like his cute goatee and pretty blue eyes. I don't like his hot bubblebutt. I don't like how he fills out those short-sleeved white shirts like they were made just for his hotness. I don't like his hilarious expressions. I don't fantasize about him, not after breakfast, lunch or dinner.

    Why do you ask?

CrimeShark that review couldnt be more perfect! The killer was obvious! I know shes a CSI (so has to remember/notice things) but how can she suddenly remember things about the case. Kendall when I heard her voice I was like, 'it that really coming out of her mouth!' But I do like Adams little interactions with her- 'lets, fight, crime!'

Lorelai when I first heard/saw that new theme I had the same thought, 'why not just cahnge the pics!' Like you guys have said the lyrics, "I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right, I don't need to be forgiven" is what NY is all about!! That drum beat thingy at the start of the original used to get me excited, the new one is just too long winded!!
