I wasnt really worried about CSI getting to 300. Dont know if CSI Miami not getting to 250, says that CBS is not interested in round numbers, or not.

I agree crossovers are better when the entire cast gets involved, the CSI Miami pilot (Cross Junctions) worked really well, ok Grissmon didn't go, but I always thought Horatio and Catherine had great chemistry. Also I think part of the problem is how its promoted, if only 1 major character...

it seems a bit odd that its going to finish up in the air again this series, even worse with an episode cut. Real shame they cant make it to 200 episodes, HOWEVER if you add the 2 CSI Miami episodes and 1 CSI episode (forthcoming cross over) Mac will have appeared in 200 episodes of the CSI...

no one would be surprised if it was. looking at the episode count, CSI has a way to go before it could match Law & Order, right now its not even going to over take SVU.

CSI will up to 295 episodes at the end of the season, so it would be good to see that get 300 as well. that said Miami would have needed another 18 to get to 250, so there is nothing to suggest CBS will round up.

seems a shame not to do 200 episodes this season, and possible at all. How many times can a show avoid the axe.

im happy both have been renewed, but i just wonder if I had missed the number of episodes, and was asking. Seems odd they have not announced it at this point.

I may have missed this, but how many episodes did NY get? im sure LV got a full series, but im not sure about NY?

interesting news about CSI NY, being the more likely of the two.

I would be very surprised if CSI NY returned next series, with all due respect to Gary Sinise, he is just giving the official line, that its not been axed, but the cast of Pan Am, would say the same thing if they were asked. Im pretty sure this series will be its last. As for CSI Miami, well...

So how many episodes will Catherine be in next series, despite the views posted above, if Catherine isnt going to be a regular I do feel the show needs a lead, and I dont think Nick or Sarah (or herself can make up her mind if she is coming or going) as leads.

given this recent news, I would not be surprised if this turns out to be the shows final series, not sure the show is going to work without Catherine, alot of the orginals will have left.

thanks didnt really like her character in NCIS, was not surprised she didnt get carried on to the series, its not like she was the only change made.
