CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

I was surprised at how much I loved Sela Ward's Jo when she was added. It made it so much easier to get over MK's departure. Now I just love how Jo seems to have become the "mom" to the team (to Mac's "dad"), really making them seem like a family. As much as I enjoyed both series, that change...

NCIS #4: *Slap* Nobody Likes A Smartass

I may be in the minority that likes Gibbs and Dr. Ryan. My first thoughts, when she mentioned her evil ex-husband getting out of prison, were twofold: Gibbs: Uhm, I can take care of that problem for you. or Gibbs: I know a recently unemployed detective in Miami who really hates men who abuse...

NCIS #4: *Slap* Nobody Likes A Smartass

The main difference between Diretor Leon Vance and Director Jenny Shepard: if he'd had he the opportunity, Gibbs would have taken a bullet for her.

Lost Girl - New syfy channel show

Enjoyed the episode, but I wish I knew exactly what Trick had written in his own blood at the end. Saskia's reaction was to go kinder instead of just to die. I didn't expect that. I guess Trick was looking out for Bo's emotional well-being as well as her life. Rather sweet. Maybe he is her...

NCIS #4: *Slap* Nobody Likes A Smartass

It was so unexpected, yet logical once I thought about it. I find myself enjoying the chemistry between Gibbs and Dr. Ryan. MH and JLC are such good actors that they make it work. It's nice seeing a current series in which both people chronologically share similar life experiences. Did...

Lost Girl - New syfy channel show

Enjoyed last night's episode. Nice to see Bo's and Dyson's relationship progressing. But I especially loved Kenzi and Hale providing comic relief. The show can be so dark at times so I'm glad the two "supporting players" are such talented actors who can go from drama into a comedy moment...

Bones #3: To Resist Is Futile

I enjoyed the episode, but Booth's dogmatic approach to Catholicism is wearing on me. But I do agree with Tempe that baptizing their daughter would give her a starting point for learning about theology. I wonder if having been used to DB as a way more sophisticated Angel makes it harder for me...

    CSINY Season 9

I just don't get all the apparent Miami love among the execs. Of course its ratings are marginally higher than New York! Most of the annointed demographic is out partying on Fridays and back home on Sunday nights. Plus NY is competing with one of NBC's only decent shows, Grimm, as well as Fox's...

    NCIS: Los Angeles

I'm glad we got a little of Kensi's back story; the show has been so heavy on the two main guys that we know little about the other team. I was glad she reconciled with her mom in the end. Perhaps we'll get more Kensi stories in the future. I don't like the idea of Jose Ferrer's character...

    Awake

I found the premise to be very unsettling. It hits close to home: sometimes dreams seem so real. If my dreams always followed logical patterns and continued a story night after night, I, too, might be wondering which "reality" is the real one. Not sure if I'm drawn in enough to continue watching.

    Season 8 Ratings

Comparing CSI NY and CSI Miami ratings is comparing apples and oranges. The desired demographic parties on Friday nights and is home on Sunday nights. CSI NY consistently wins its time frame, usually with more than ten million viewers. The only "negative" factor I see is that Blue Bloods gets...

Lost Girl - New syfy channel show

Checked this show out expecting to roll my eyes, but was pleasingly surprised at the quirkiness of the characters, and how different the storyline is from other similar shows. I've liked every one of the (so far) four episodes. I love Kensi (sp?) and find Dyson surprisingly sexy for such a...

    Grade 'Brooklyn 'Til I Die'

Finally got to see the episode; Comcast added it to its On Demand just after my rant (sorry, guys...*blushes*). I loved the way the authorities all thought the kidnappers were pros who then turned out to be not-so-bright common criminals. I thought the look on the face of the kidnapee's father...

    In Plain Sight- Witness. Protection.

Agree with your sentiment. "New stuff that is lame" usually equals cheaper to produce or more interesting to the "Please don't make me think too much!" crowd.

    Grade 'Brooklyn 'Til I Die'

I'd love to rate the episode or even comment on it because I wanted to "meet" Mac's new potential love interest, but, unfortunately, Comcast "forgot" to load this episode into their On Demand menu. When I tried to ask about it, I was told their email comment site was not working and that the...
