Well! Just watched the CSI:NY season 8 finale. What a great way to end an 8-season run of a great show... Oh, hang on a minute. It wasn't NY they cancelled, was it! It was the one they didn't make a suitable finale for... :wtf:

According to the CSI FILES homepage here, the decision was nothing to do with ratings or budgets. Apparently the real reason is that it made more sense to have three programmes based around New York following each other in the schedules. "More sense" to whom?! :wtf:

Yes, you're right, Solitaire: it's next week's episode with Nat in trouble - I was reading the wrong TV schedule! Can't say I really noticed the clothes, but I too raised an eyebrow at Horatio's "You can't take justice into your own hands" line - a case of "do as I say and not as I do" if ever...

Andy - a guy was pulled in as a suspect in a case based solely on the fact that he had hit his wife, who was a friend of the victim. He was not guilty of the murder, but at the end of the episode, Horatio had him dragged into an interview room, locked the door, closed the blinds, and was...

He did - he made him pee his pants!! I loved that bit - making the guy crawl in the dirt and scaring the b'juicies out of him. I really enjoyed the whole episode actually. And tres multilingual aussi!

Thanks - actually, the mugging incident finally got the school (teachers and pupils alike) to take things seriously, and he hasn't been bothered once by anybody since then. Also, we took the little b******d to court and got him locked up for six months, and when he came out, he saw my son one...

I thought it was a good episode too, and as the mom of a child who was seriously bullied at school, even to the extreme of being mugged and beaten up in the street, I can totally understand what drove the parents, especially in their case when everyone else was too scared of being sued, wrongly...
