I truly believe that whatever remnants there were of Mr. Horatio "HERO" Caine are gone. If he's willing to just shoot people to shoot people, than that's pretty much as dark as he can go, IMO. Unless, of course, they somehow make it worse, which, because this is Miami, will probably end up...

Agreed. Especially because Ryan is probably the most mysterious character on the show now. We know so little about him (maybe the writers want it that way?) it would be nice to see him get some storyline's in Season 7. Whenever I think of a good arc for Ryan, the first thing that comes to mind...
