I am choosing to believe that George decided that it was better for Nick Stokes to be remembered the way he left at the end of the last season rather then in a movie that in their own words his absence is no big deal because he wasn't that important to the overall story and easy to write out.
Don't know if they will be in the episode but they had flashbacks in the Canadian promo and the promo was all about Nick.Looks like he and Sara have a very touching scene coming.
Did The Lat Ride feel like a bait and switch to you?So many pictures the sneak peek and Aime Ballard hyping his time with George Eads and then he appeared in only two scenes for maybe two minutes. There should be a law against this kind of false advertising.
David Berman tweeted a picture with George Eads saying he couldn't believe he had just filmed his last scene with him.Someone likely thought it was David that was leaving and tweeted that out.
I find myself saying that many scenes with Greg were once the scenes that Nick would have done.He has been slowly replaced by him and I guess they figure this way when he's gone it won't be as noticeable.
If he could save a movie for someone who hates the genre then imagine what he could have done for CSI if TPTB had used him the way they should have.Instead they chose to bury him in the background until like last episode if you blinked you missed him. What a crying shame.
I was thinking more of his relationships. As bad as they turned out both Warrick and Sara committed to others.Nick has never even hinted at being in a long term relationship let alone ready to get married.I thought DB was perfect in that scene. He knew not to push but also made himself available...
I agree Smokey. It's not in his nature to go in to a lot of detail. He didn't even give too much information to Catherine.Do we even know if his molester was male or female? When he said Pete's life was ruined years ago was he actually talking about himself?
Not a big surprise.Although he is in episodes his character doesn't seem to be a major part of it anymore.Hope they don't kill Nick off but with it being tied to the Gig Harbor case it is a distinct possibility. He was the only reason left to watch what had become a shadow of itself.
The feeling I keep getting this year is a show that is being filmed like it was on a conveyor belt. This actor films a scene for episode A while another is filming one for episode B.They are doing this so regularly this year that it is now impossible to mask. Each episode seems to come in segments...
This happened last year with The Mentalist. Tonight I caught the first run episode at 7:00 PM on the Atlantic feed but if it's anything like last year CTV will have switched to a rerun at 10:00 PM eastern time.Checked at ten and they are showing Girls Gone Wilder.By the way there is no Nick in...
I really enjoyed this episode but I must admit that because I have the Canadian east coast feed I watch it at 7:00 PM and no football delay. It's a shame that they put it on Sunday because so far this season has been much better then last year.Tighter stories and more forensics are what stand out...
