I did like his line, when Nagano's caddy says something like "Do you have to do this now? He's had a rough day" and Brass says "Yeah, well his dad has had a rough day too." I almost bust a gut.

I don't quite understand this statement. Hodges was really snarky last week, because Langston isn't Grissom, and only kind of mellowed at the end. This week he's hardly in the episode. So I don't really see where Hodges is "toned down", but I could just be missing something.

I would guess she was in a scene that was cut. Battlestar Galactica used to (and probably still does) do that a lot. I guess it's kind of fitting that BSG writers wrote this ep! Dave
