I believe that in the next few seasons that a Catherine and Warrick romance will become a big thing in the series. I say this because if you remember in the Season 6 opener she said that once a fantasy is gone then you lose then you lose hope in a possibility.

I believe that this wont be the season finale or just a cliff hanger. I believe that the writers strike will end in time and the season will continue on without a hitch and that at some point in the next few seasons a Catherine and Warrick romance will come about.
