I'm interested to see why the poker chips weren't destroyed though my guess is someone wanted to make a quick buck or save for the future.

Loved Gerald McRaney on Major Dad and that spin off from Touched by an Angel called Promised Land. Is it bad that I want him to be the bad guy?

I honestly can't wait for this finale.
Hopefully it'll be drama and suspense filled.
Even if it isn't, it still looks very good.
I want to see how Langston reacts to using deadly force.
All in all it looks like a really good episode from the preview or two that I've seen :)

For anyone who is interested, Phillip Schenkler, who came up with the story for the episode, has been a Production Accountant for CSI since "Grissom's Divine Comedy." He also worked with Gerald McRaney before on Jericho and Promised Land.

I still wish they changed the title so it wouldn't be the same title as one of Miami's finales (or ep before the finale, whatever).

I hope this episode is good though and that the screen time is balanced for all characters like the past three eps have been.

I'm excited about Gerald McRaney's appearance. It looks like he's playing a key role. He and Marg worked together in a TV movie called Blind Vengeance. She was his love interest. lol. I hope they'll get to share scenes in the finale as Marg and Henry Thomas did in If I Had A Hammer....

I wish Gerald McRaney would get another series again for himself, whether it's comedy (like Major Dad), or drama (like his last one, Jericho). I also loved him as Lindsay Boxer's dad in Women's Murder Club. I ditto Erica's comments hoping that he gets some screen time to reunite with Marg.

As for the casino theme of the episode - I hope we get some Sam Braun references!

Also, we have more CSI guest returnees:
Mark Pellegrino appeared back in Gum Drops
Peter Breitmayer was in Ch-ch-changes

Remember how the tv guide said that there would be something shocking from Ray's past in this ep that would shake him up badly? I just got a weird thought:'

He wears a wedding band, but we never heard him speak of his wife.

What if he thinks his wife is dead (maybe she mysteriously disappeared and after a long time searching for her, people gave up and assumed she was dead) and the shocker is that she isn't and the scene where it shows him gasp and put his hand to his mouth is where he sees her for the first time in many years or something?

That's probably not it, but anything's possible.

I guess we'll just get it over with and hoping for a better season 10...
though I know that it'll look the same if not worse... full of Langston and our long term characters will wave from behind his back...

This episode should get the title "All about Langston", so we don't have that much expectations on it.

I really hope I'm wrong but my gut tells me that this will be the worst season finale ever because there will be no teamwork, like we always had it in the past seasons... sad though :(

I don't know. From the extended preview I saw it looks like there will be some teamwork in this episode. I just get the feeling the end of the ep will pretty much be Ray focused, but everything else I've seen saw others working along side with him.

Well I would be happy with that :) What is a CSI finale without a good teamwork episode??? It has ever been that way and I would be really disappointed they would just focus it on Langston...

I mean there were character focused CSI finales in the past but there was always big team effort an important part too, like in Grave Danger...

Maybe it'll be a good finale, hope dies last

Didn't I read somewhere that Louise Lombard was supposed to return for the season finale? What happened with that?
