And you are right, Clarrisani, other moment from the games that also implies that Nick is gay, it's when he finds some women's underwear and he wonders if they'd fit him.....Could this hint on the game be considered canon? Well, in this scene from "Gum Drops", they say that Nick "has a radiant feminine energy...." Why would they say something like that? ;)

Okay, first of all I would like to say WHAT? to the part about Nick asking if the WOMAN'S underwear would fit HIM. Umm ... Nicky, my dear, even that's a bit weird for moi. But seriously, where did that happen?

I happen to love that part in Gum Drops. Nicky tears up at the end ... ah, so cute. BUT ANYWAYS! back to the feminine energy--Nick's got a lot of it. Sometimes. When he isn't all "Superman!Nicky", which happens a lot.

I think that the part about David Rambo saying that Nick isn't going to have a break down is dead deppressing. I swear I read an old interview with George Eads on a different site that had him saying that Nick was due for a breakdown and that he's stopped caring. Something about he's going down a dark road. Or that's what I remember. ARGH! It was on a foreign site devoted to George Eads stuff and I don't think I'll remember what it waass. I was looking up the Monte Carlo interview ... *sigh* I don't think I'll ever find that website again.

*realizes she's gone way off topic*

Anywho--umm ... seeing as how I'm already off topic, might as well just go the whole nine yards. I believe someone asked if there were any new Nick/Greg Halloween fics, and I just wanted to say that I'll be uploading mine either tomorrow night or Friday. In case anyone wants to read it ... xD

Radiant feminine energy? lol, I don't remember that. Anyway, it's not the best to explain that Nick is gay, but we know him for years. It could be a small sign for shippers.

Books are games for canon! But seriously, I think that's showing how many people can really Love. Their chemistry is unbearable so writer (even not very aware about it) could add in his storyline a Love moment. Is it that great?

Some time ago I watched Ch-Ch-Changes. I loved this episode for that one and the best scene - Nick in the club. He didn't look confused, and he checked out the bartender who surely spotted that Nick was... ekhem... interested in some way. And that scene after when the team met. Suddenly came Greg and Nick checked him out, from down to up. Hmmm, tell me, what Nick thought in that moment?

Banshee_D, I wonder what Nick thought in that moment, I can't possibly think ;)

It's certainly interesting what some of the books are like. I've never read them, but from whats been said, they certainly like some of the subtexty Love :)

nick has feminine radiant energy? I missed that!!

Regarding Nick being Gre'gs supervisor and having to split, Cath would technically be the main supervisor, and evne if there are 2, like there are now, Ecklie said to Grissom if he'd have been honest about the relationship, Cath could just have done Sara's appraisals etc.

Wow, I haven't been on here in ages. That would be because my mouse wasn't working and then I got grounded. Anywho, today me and MLC found a CSI book in our library and there's a picture where Nick and Greg are staring at each other, completely oblivious to everyone. Unfortunately, Nick has the pornstache and it kind of takes away from it but still, good picture. The book also said that Warrick had had an intimate relationship with Mandy. And then is said that Warrick and Cath had confronted their 'mutual attraction' and had decided to keep a professional relationship. Neither of those actually happened on the show. The book also had seperate pages for all the characters and I was happy to see that Nick had his long hair in the main picture and Greg had his shortish spiky hair. My personal favorites.

Now, as to the books. I've only read one and that was Cold Burn. I think there was a little bit of subtext which was pretty good seeing as Greg was only mentioned twice.

I find it absolutely amazing that even people who don't see the Love still notice how close the boys are. They're constantly wanting them to work together. And as I hear, they will be in upcoming episodes. I can't wait!

*still drooling over the Janto making out scene from "Adrift".....Thanks for the reminder.

What?

Anyway, I've noticed that there is something in common between the books and the show - a distinct lack of Greg. My favourite of the books that I've read thus far is "Snake Eyes" as there is a lot of Greg in that one, but the book actually came across at Greg/Warrick. Nothing against that pairing, but that's what it did.

I really will have to get around to doing "Also Available In Fiction" for the wiki so that everyone will know where to look for the Nick/Greg moments in the books. There isn't much, I'm afraid, because of the reason mentioned above, but there is still enough to make me happy at least.

And Greggo_Obsessed, what book was that? Was it one of the guides?

Sorry - as much as I love that scene - I edited the link out. If you would like to see it - please do it via PM. This thread is for the discussion of Greg and Nick. I don't mind a small amount of Jack/Ianto discussion - but there is a Torchwood thread here if you want to get into larger discussions on the show. Thanks so much!

So, books and games don't count and just the eps? Like I said, books stuff is going ignored...

^^ I'm so sorry. I have never really read any of the books. May have to now. I don't know how I feel about the games and books counting as canons. Personally I feel it has to happen in the show for it to be a canon. Mainly cause the show is why all these books and games were created.

^^ I love that episode. You can just tell that Nicky felt very comfy in the club. Perhaps he has a cross dressing fetish. I know there are many a fanfic that have explored this idea. When he checks Greggo out in the later scene I bet thats what hes thinking about. Naughty naughty Nicky.

Happy Halloween to everyone in the FORT!!

I think that would be a great idea, Clarrisani. Thanks for doing it!

So, in one of the CSI novels it's revealed that Warrick had an intimate relationship with Mandy!" Who knew?

I haven't watched the episode yet but from what I'm reading, there weren't any Nick/Greg scenes. Please, tell me we don't have to wait till 9.09 to see the boys working together...:(

One of my favourite episodes of The Love is "Slaves Of Las Vegas". Nobody can't deny the sexual tension between Nick and Greg in this scene in the lab:

GREG: "Liquid latex"

NICK: "Never heard of it"

GREG: "Really? It's all the craze right now, man. Girls paint it on guys. Guys paint it on girls. You can paint it on yourself if you want, if that's what you're into...you can't get a date..."
(Greg is so flirting here, trying to find out what's Nick is really into...)

NICK: "I got it" ( Poor Nick is blushing here because he knows Greg is flirting with him)

GREG: "Like I would know"

NICK: "Sure, sure, I got it man"

And there are looks than speak more than a thousand words...

And as Nick is leaving, Greg is like: "If I only could paint it on you....."

Once again Seabird provides photographic evidence.

I really can't say anything about the books or the games because I have only read one book and have not played the games. But I agree that anything that is canon is something that happens on the show.

This weeks ep had no N/G scenes whatsoever, disappointing but not unexpected. I was just happy to see a lot of Greg for a change. (I posted screncaps of him on the Greg/Eric pic thread).

FYI - On Nov 1st (Sat) CBS is showing 'Bull' again at 8pm EST.

I love SoLV too. Amazing epi with many ships in it;)

Conversation between Greg and Nick was so cute! It showed that Nick can be sometimes so helpless when is about flirting. And all just started 'cause Greg mentioned liquid latex. Nicky wasn't so confident. And surely it wasn't 'cause he's shy. I think that in this moment he recalled some ...ekhem... thoughts about Greg:devil: But of course, our Texan is strong guy and any thoughts could not make him to avoid any chance to be close to his Greggo. When he was right behind him he looked so sweet, I guessed he liked Greg's cologne too:lol: And thing about painting... Oh yeah, I think that Greg found out that Nick would like to be painted - that's why he walked out from the room so fast, to hide the biggest blush in the history:lol: Well, possible is that Nick wanted to paint Greg but I don't know, I just like idea that Greg painted Nick:devil:

No Nick/Greg. :( As you say Wojowolf, I guess its not unexpected, but still disappointing. But did you say lots of Greg? That's good :)

Did I hear SoLV. I absolutely love that episode. Seriously love it. Makes my top 5.

Liquid latex just says all that needs to be said :D I am trying not to go aong your lines of thinking Banshee_D. It's not happening though. Imagine the fun with the liquid latex. OK stopping now...

Loving the Love pics :)

I like their start before the liquid latex thing:

NICK: What up, Einstein? Ooh, you got anything there?

GREG: You think Einstein had people hovering over his shoulders all the time?
If he did, do you think that we'd be walking around with e=mc squared t-shirts?

(here Nick is getting closer and closer:devil:)

GREG: Would you step back? Just give me some breathing room?

Greg's grin is priceless in this scene. It was saying - baby, come closer - but of course he couldn't make Nick do that 'cause he would forget about work and lose all the control:devil: Poor Nicky, maybe he was confused because of the miscommunication too?

I'm afraid that we need to wait for some Love scene in new season. But I hope that when it be, it'll be really amazing;)

So the book Greggo_Obsessed was talking about is titled ultimate CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It isn't a novel--it's more of an explanatory book with minor character bios within its pages. I was more than surprised to learn that Warrick and Mandy had gotten together at one point. Seriously ... when did THAT happen?

The picture she was talking about is this one. And, like she said, the 'stache from hell is there. I first suggested that Greg's just transfixed with the caterpillar across Nick's face, but meh--I was overruled.

Ah, I LOOVVEE SoLV. Absolutely amazing episode! So much subtext, it was aawweessoommeee! When talking about the (in)famous liquid latex scene, ya can't forget Greg's beautiful smile. He's so cute when he's telling Nick to "back off". I think that if Nick didn't keep his distance, then Greg would jump him. Too bad that kind of thing wouldn't get shown on CSI, though. =[ One can always hope, I guess.

I would LOVE it if we actually got some Nick/Greg time in the next episode. They have to work together at one point, right?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

Thank you MLC for explaining that.

Well, the Halloween episode was...interesting I guess. Nothing too exciting happened so not much to say on the subject. LADY HEATHER NEXT WEEK!!! I love Lady Heather. She's so cool. It's gunna be a good one I think.

And Nick just couldn't stop himself from keeping getting closer and closer. I loved it. SoLV was on again last night on Living, and I just had to watch it (again)! I just love the whole ep :)

I take it there was no Nick/Greg scenes of interest in the halloween episdoe then?
