I'm guessing you can't be in field unless you've passed the test. Irregardless of whether you carry a gun or not. The world of CSI and the real world aren't always identical! So it could just be to help the story along.

Yeh it was in All for our country Grissom wasn't carrying, but I think as Wornsouls says, it's a requirement to pass the test, so I guess it's more bureaucratics than anything, i.e. if Grissom wasn't carrying and he got shot, it was his choice not to carry.

With everything that went down during the season finale, a question occured to me that I thought I'd ask:

What exactly is an "Under Sheriff"? And what does he(or she?) do?

An Under Sheriff is basically the second in charge under the actual Sheriff, though I believe where I live they are called Chief Deputies :)

Princess the answer to you question is here. Basically an undersheriff is the second in command. If you go here it describe what the sheriff and undersheriff do in Clark County. I hope this helps :)

looking for name of episode aired June 3, 2008

I am trying to find out the name of the episode aired June 3, 2008 where a woman (she used to be on a soap opera) plays the part of a doctor that owns a Great Dane that she has trained to kill people. She then harvests their organs and dries them into a powder for consumption in her "energy shakes" as she has some sort of Vampire Syndrome...........

I am interested in what the name of the condition was that Grissom said she had.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The name of the episode is "Justice is Served" (season 1 episode 21) Alicia Coppola played Dr. Susan Hillridge. I will have to probably look up in this board's episode guide for the condition.

Okay, so people in the Favourite Quotes thread are saying that Greg himself declared that he had lost his virginity at the age of 22 in the season 5 episode Down The Drain. I saw that episode last night and I swear he didn't say that, and has never said that in any episode. So many people have said it, though, that he must have said it at some stage somewhere - maybe it's not on the UK DVDs (which I have).

Can anyone tell me conclusively where and when Greg said this?

Thanks so much - going slightly bonkers here!

Well in "Down the Drain" they were referring to his first autopsy.
SARA: I heard you finally lost your virginity.
(Greg glances at Sara. She smiles at him.)
    SARA: (clarifies) First autopsy.

In "Swap Meet" Mia brought it up to greg who choose to ignore it.
Greg: Just like being back in college, right?
Mia: Sara said you didn't lose your virginity until you were twenty-two.

I don't know if this helps, if there are others that might be able to help I am sure they will jump in. ;)
