Mac #5: Back In Black!

Exactly. He was serious in s1, but that went with what his character was going through at the time - in deep grief over Claire's death - and even in s1 we did get to see a few 'mini-smiles' now and again, and he even made that 'gooey' joke to Stella. But since s1, he really has relaxed a lot, and like you say he's shown he does have a sense of humor, he just saves it for appropriate times. That's great, especially as we have Flack with the constant one-liners and Danny kidding around quite a lot. Also, I think the fact that Mac keeps his sense of humor for appropriate times fits with his job as the boss.
I was watching Officer Blue today and it made me wonder whether the people who refer to Mac as 'cold' or someone who 'only cares about science/the evidence' are watching the same show as me. He really showed compassion for the widow and little girl who donated Blue, and also for the dead cop's family - he showed that when he told Gerald Brown - 'When you shot (the cop) through the back, you shot those people through the heart'. Like both Jane and Stella pointed out, Mac has a heart. It's just that he doesn't show his emotions as often as other characters like Danny do. But he's anything but cold.

I am so happy. I'm going to watch Mac tonight on our brand new TV. And it's 12 cm bigger than are last TV, so...:drool:

Our last TV went poof last Friday night. The sound was so loud my mom could here it upstairs. We've been watching a very little TV since then and I've been praying the new TV would come soon. And now it's here. I can't wait till CSI starts so I can watch Mac...:devil::drool:

So tomorrow I'll be one year older...I bit sad really, I mean I'm almost 18 and then I'm "adult" work waiting etc.

So we got Pissy!Mac, Frustrated!Mac and Sweet DaddyMac, assests, kevlar, jeans, black t-shirts, Mac angst...what a fantastic ep!
Aww, did anyone else wanna hug Mac when Reed used the name 'Claire' to signal him and also when Reed was bleeding on the floor? ('Don't die on me, Reed!'- awww! Our man was really on the verge of losing it there) I did. Well, ok, I wanted to do a lil more than just hug him!

 

The pictures are nice. Mac looks once again very much, very enticing. The Scenen from the result were also strong. Mac and Rohr have a good chemistry together.

 

Glad you like the pics......I think it's the jeans [and the black jackect and T] that make this my fave casual macs :devil:

When the scene finished I realised what i'd done and mentally slapped myself....We've waited for weeks for this storyline to conclude and I spend the exciting part drooling over Mac's assets :drool: but that's what the rewind buttons for right?!?! :devil:

Casual!Mac... mmmmm. I just knew when I saw him in the black T & sweatshirt last night, that my fellow Macsters would be out there somewhere drooling right along with me, and that some kind soul would come here and post screen caps!! :drool: Day-um, that man looks hot in Black, doesn't he? Absolutely adored the last scenes with he and Reed. Great stuff!
