I forgot something on this one. When Catherine's daughter was kidnapped on original CSI, Warrick stopped Catherine from untying her because she'd contaminate evidence. So why isn't it that way here, given it was Mac's girlfriend? I know none of the CSIs are big on keeping it real, but that sticks out now. I can accept it given Mac's worry and that DB was a ways back so he wouldn't be seen, but I can see it popping up in court lol. Of course, that's ignoring the fact Mac wouldn't have been let near the case IRL anyway but...
