Good thing for me was that the first time I watched CSI: NY was on Spike and they were showing it in order though I usually couldn't watch an entire 8 hours of marathon so I ended up watching the show out of order too.

Enjoy the NY marathon while it lasts. Looks like NY will disappear from TNT's schedule late November to December due to original programmings and NBA. The 11pm-2am blocks will be back on January.

It's not a problem for me either, since I've watched all the CSIs from the beginning episodes. But, for someone who may not have watched before, it doesn't seem fair for a network to just pick-and-choose what episodes to air when common sense tells you to start from the beginning, air all the episodes in order up to whatever season you can go up to (depeneding on how many seasons the network actually bought to air), then start all over again--Season 1/Episode 1. It's not rocket science.

Yeah I agree. NY had serial elements too in early seasons and it might turn-off new viewers if TNT isn't showing it in order. Same is true with other dramas. These reruns are supposed to increase the exposure of the show to potential viewers and not to scare them away.

Yeah, I've wondered about that, too. They've been showing those movies, and of course The Closer and Rizzoli & Isles' seasons have started up again. The marathons in primetime are listed for tomorrow and next Thursday, and the basketball lockout has been lifted with the first games starting on Christmas day. I hope this isn't over. I was mad when they dropped Numb3rs...:(

Last CSI: NY marathon of the year tonight at 8/7c on TNT! But you can still tune-in on some late night blocks from 11pm-2am starting January.

    Merry Christmas!

There's more CSI: NY on TNT. Every Thursday night, there will be a mini-marathon starting tomorrow at 10pm/9c. Also, there are three episodes every Monday night starting at 11pm/10c.

Something's really not right about 'Hostage.' No matter how many times I watch there are just some absurd things, one after another. I know some of them "made sense" in the end (and in 'Veritas') but still... pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, some of the things were quite absurd, like Mac doing the autopsy while Sid is helping. What other things were absurd?
