  • CSI: Miami's Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) will star in the upcoming film Caught in the Crossfire with rapper 50 Cent and Chris Klein. (Source)

  • CSI: New York star Gary Sinise said his character, Mac Taylor, makes his politics clear. There is a photograph of former president Ronald Reagan on the wall in Mac's office, and according to Sinise, "If you keep looking, you might see a lot more."

  • Rade Serbedzija portrayed Delko's father Alexander Sharova in several episodes of Miami this past season. The actor recently revealed that he was cast in the upcoming seventh Harry Potter film. "I will have a small, but very interesting role," the actor told Blic Online.

  • Former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Louise Lombard (Sofia Curtis) will not be in the upcoming NCIS spinoff despite appearing in the backdoor pilot that aired during the latest season. Julia Ormond, who appeared as Deputy Inspector Gillian Whitford in several episodes of CSI: NY during season five, will not be starring in the upcoming CBS series Three Rivers with former Moonlight star Alex O'Loughlin.   • According to TV Shows on DVD, the first episode of New York's first season, "Blink", is featured on the "Special DVD Collection" TV Sets: Crime and Punishment from CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment. The DVD will be released August 25.

  • Mykelti Williamson (Chief Brigham Sinclair), who has guest-starred on CSI: NY for several seasons, has been cast as Brian Hastings in the upcoming season of 24. The character is the head of CTU New York.

  • The ninth season of CSI is expected to be released on DVD September 1. CSI, as well as New York's fifth season and Miami's seventh season, are expected to have a suggested retail price of $49.99. (Sources: CSI, New York and Miami)
