CSI: Crime Scene Investigation stars Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) and Wallace Langham (David Hodges) are part of the 30-day Burma: It Can't Wait campaign. Each day for 30 days, a new video is released. Each video features a different celebrity, but their message is the same: Burma needs help.
"Burma: It Can't Wait" was funded and co-produced by Fanista.com. In addition, 10% of the proceeds from any entertainment purchased from Fanista will go toward the US Campaign for Burma. The site offers background on the purpose of the campaign for Burma (also known as Myanmar), which aims to free the country from a brutal military regime. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, recipient of the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize, has been in and out of prison since 1988 and is currently under house arrest. "Please use your liberty to promote ours," she said, and the campaign for Burma is doing just that.
The videos from Fox, Szmanda and Langham can be watched below. All of the videos released so far can be seen at the US Campaign for Burma's YouTube channel. Information about "Burma: It Can't Wait" can be found on the official website, and the US Campaign for Burma offers more detailed information on their official site as well. Those who wish to add their name to the growing list of supporters can do so on either site.
Please note that the content in these videos and the others produced for "Burma: It Can't Wait" may not be suitable for younger viewers and may evoke a strong reaction.
A little graphic in parts, but I guess that's what it'll take to get the message through to people; we can't 'wait for the right moment' any more. It's been and gone.

I really didn't know much about what was happening. It's a good thing they made these videos, especially with celebrities. It will get through to people faster and clearer than just reading about it.
