'Down To The Wire', 'Taxi' & 'For Gedda' Official Details

The franchise is jam-packed: a meddling PI, a serial killer and the possible end of a CSI's career.

CSI: Miami starts out the week on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT with "Down to the Wire", and the team must deal with a troublesome private investigator:

When a man is killed due to a fake 911 call, Horatio must face off with a private investigator who is systematically destroying the team.

Eagle Egilsson has directed seven previous episodes of Miami, including "You May Now Kill the Bride". This is Sunil Nayar's nineteenth writing credit for the show. The last episode he wrote was "Raising Caine".

"Down to the Wire" contains the following guest-stars:

  • Boti Bliss as Maxine Valera

  • Tom Sizemore as Kurt Rossi
  • Tim Griffin as Commander Briggs
  • Garett Maggart as Michael Maddox
  • Mireille Enos as Lucy Maddox
  • David Furr as Neil Jackson
  • Mark Famiglietti as Charlie Decker
  • Chris Williams as Peter Cullen
  • Toni Wynne as Debbie Schiffer
  • Scotty Crowe as Danny
  • Jacquelyn Houston as Therapist

Boti Bliss and David Lee Smith are reprising established recurring roles. Mark Famiglietti has appeared in both CSI: New York ("Risk") and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ("Pledging Mr. Johnson"). Chris Williams was also on CSI, guest-starring in "Committed" during the show's fifth season. Toni Wynne was in the CSI episode "Inside the Box".

On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, the CSI: New York team must deal with the taxicab killer in "Taxi":

When a man accused of being the "Cabbie Killer" is found dead, Mac and the team must determine if the streets of New York are finally safe.

Christine Moore has directed five previous episodes of New York, including "DOA for a Day". Barbie Kligman also wrote "One Wedding and a Funeral" for the series. This is John Dove's fifth writing credit for the show. His latest episode was "DOA for a Day".

The following actors and actresses will appear in "Taxi":

Robert Joy, Emmanuelle Vaugier and Kyle Gallner are reprising established recurring roles. Jessalyn Gilsig ("Personal Foul") and Kristen Dalton ("Like Water for Murder") have previously appeared on the show this season. The rest of the guest-stars have not appeared in the franchise before.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation airs the eighth season finale on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT. "For Gedda" could spell the end of Warrick's career:

Warrick is accused of murdering a famous Vegas gangster and even he is uncertain of his guilt or innocence.

Kenneth Fink has directed 44 previous episodes of CSI, including "A Thousand Days on Earth". This is Fink's second writing credit for the show (the other was for "Sweet Jane"), and he co-wrote the story for "For Gedda" with Dustin Lee Abraham. Abraham has written 16 other episodes of the show, including "Drops' Out".
