At first this episode seemed like a ripoff of Miami's "Triple Threat". Triple Threat had triplets, one had a nose bleed and they figured out which one was the killer from antibody profiling (cause one had been to some foreign country and had to get a vaccine or whatever before going). In the Miami ep the triplets were female, but male on the Vegas ep. You know, from the previews I kind of thought it sounded a little like "Triple Threat", but the whole nose bleed thing was a bit too much like it. Although the episode was different in other areas, I feel it should have been a little different there instead of using the same "nose bleed" ruse. Surely there are plenty of other ways the suspect's blood could have ended up on the floor. It just really bugged me.

Later, the episode reminded me of a Van Damme movie I saw (can't recall the name of it), except the clone on the Van Damme movie was good, whereas the original (the guy they cloned) was a psycho. Or maybe it was the other way around, not sure lol.

The whole fourth "clone" being a kid ... I swear I've seen a movie like that before. Can't recall specific details, but it just seemed familiar somehow. :shrugs:

This episode was kind of cliche (in that I've seen things like this many times before, even the plot "twists") and quite honestly, it got kind of irritating the more twins that came into the picture. Definitely my least favorite episode this season so far. Sorry, but I have to give this episode an F. This episode had me rolling my eyes throughout the whole thing. Just didn't like the plot (twists and all), sorry.

Also hated how Nick was portrayed when that girl answered the door in her underwear. His whole Joey Tribbiani "How you doing?" thing was OOC big time. At first it was kind of like "haha" but then after thinking about it for a bit, it was more like "Hey! I resent that!" LOL.

And once again Sara gets duped by some kid. How many times has that happened now? It's getting old.

As soon as they found the third brother dead, I knew who the fourth brother and the killer would be. Guess I've been watching CSI for too many years.

Wow! I sure wouldn't call it a failure. Maybe that's because I don't watch Miami and it didn't seem familiar to me. :) It kept me guessing and interested, so I liked it. Good to see Brass back tonight. And glad Nick kept the hair under control.

Eh okay, down there with Freaks and Geeks for me

Moved slow, I think the quads thing got a little annoying, maybe it would have helped if they wore different clothing, and Greggo being abscent didn't help either

:( We have DNA stuff tonight with our DNA expert missing in action :(

Glad to see Archie, Mandy, and Henry

Liked seeing Finn work Sara and Henry, she needs to work more with the others and less with DB

Sara and Morgan working together :)

DB and the in-laws, can we hear more about the other characters relatives now?

ETA: Hodges was missing too, I guess he was vacationing with mom

They kept adding twins and at some point it became like the song that never ends LOL.

    Agree completely.

I missed some parts cause I was out of the room. Usually I'm glued to the tv when CSI is on. Not this time, I'm afraid. I missed Mandy's scene completely... and I missed the whole DB/in-laws thing (whatever that was). But I will probably never watch this episode again.

I knew someone else besides Greg was missing, but I couldn't think of who it was LOL. Maybe Greg and Hodges were somewhere playing a video game or something LOL. Maybe someone can write a fanfic about some kind of adventure the two of them were on during this episode LOL.

Was it just me, or did Sara have a reaction when they were discussing the mother's inability to bear a child?
It made me think she regrets not having one or wants to have one.

The thought crossed my mind as well during that scene.

Those are some strong words, and I honestly wouldn't call it a 'ripoff.' Technically speaking, there are only ten or twelve original stories out there; the others kind of give and take their own elements. The episode had its own unique twists and turns. Contrived? Hardly.

CSI: Miami is known for recycling stories from the other two series, and while this episode may have had a similar theme to "Triple Threat," they are not identical (heh) by any means.

Gave this episode an F. GNR fan pretty much covered all the basics with her post including it being a repeat of Triple Threat but there is one thing in this episode that really, really bugged me.
I know it's fiction so there's a lot of leeway but the final scene at the end really irks me. Someone that young, even one as smart as Avery is,really should have a lawyer or advocate in the room with him, especially when he's being pressured to confess.
