Why thank you! It's true though, we're halfway...

I agree with all of your funny scenes GNRF, but I think my favourite funny Ryan scene is in Speed Kills, when he goes to the morgue and Alexx is boiling the head. There's another one like that where Alexx has to stick a needle in the dead guys eye to get ocular fluid, and Ryan just sort of stands there and looks away. :p I'm not sure what episode that was though.

The two I've read so far have had good Ryan in them: Riptide and Right To Die.

Thanks GNRF for epis! I'll add those! Anyone else?

Ryan is also in Harm for the Holidays: Heart Attack, Harm for the Holidays: Misgivings, and Cult Following. :)

So...um...I didn't get to see the episode on Monday. :scream:
Does that make me a bad Ryan fan?

I love those books! Especially for the fact that the authors get Ryan amazingly right on and they give some background info. Like Ryan and his gaming habit he has had since college, he's totally into Dungeons and Dragons! :adore:

And no Meg, that does not make you a bad Ryan fan.

I love those books!! I just finished the seventh one and trying to get my hands on Right to Die. In answer to your question, here are the books in order Ryan is in.

    Book 3: Cult Following
    Book 4: Riptide
Book 5: Harm for the Holidays: Heart Attack
Book 6: Harm for the Holidays: Misgivings
    Book 7: Cut and Run
    Book 8: Right to Die

But everything that has been said is dead on, these books have these characters down packed, you even get a lot of explination that you don't get in the t.v. series. Great reads all of them!! :)

    Wow!
Time for me to go to the book store.
    ;)
I'm not a big reader. But for Ryan, I can be.

Thanks everyone for the lists, I'm very excited to read them, hopefully the translation is as good as the original :) and I also hope there are not catchy new titles given to them here, because then I won't find them easily:lol:

I just watched the scene from COTC where he says 'I hate this case' I remember when I first watched the episode I kept watching it again and again it was too funny. I think this epi is also the one I have seen the most times.

    Re: Ryan/Jon #22

Someone gave me this exact list before.I did manage to get all except the last.I was told it was a different author and while good, the author of the first five are better.
I found the books on Amazon and ebay.
I haven't read any of them yet because I have a really bad habit of buying books that people recommend.I promised I wasn't going to read them until I read through some other books first.

I have Right to Die and it is by a different author, but I also read Cut and Run and I have to say I liked Right to Die better. I really want to get the others though, the two that I read were awesome.

^ I prefer Donn Cortez to Jeff Marriotte- the Right to Die author. Probably because I read Donn's first. In Right to Die Ryan comes over as a bit of a wimp. But its still worth a read.

    Re: Ryan/Jon #22

I have read them all, and I really have to say that I prefer Donn Cortez' novels. Especially the two parter :)

Does anyone know when the next Miami book will be out? I read that Jeff Mariotte is working on a Vegas novel, but nothing about a new Miami book?

I've read like 3 of the Donn Cortez ones, two of the Holiday ones and another I don't remember. I like the character stuff he did, but he always makes dirty jokes...

    Re: Ryan/Jon #22

I've read all of the books (even all the Vegas and NY ones too ;) ).
I can't really say that I liked any particular author better than another, I thought they were all good and portrayed the characters well.

But, I've read Cult Following and Riptide by Donn Cortez about 10 times each, so maybe I do like him more...
