    Grade 'This Is Life'

I very much hope there's a 10th season, even if it's another short one and they announced up front that it's the final season. If they do get renewed, ending with Mac & Christine's wedding would make the most sense. I would HOPE they'd work it out so Stella would be at the wedding, it wouldn't...

    Grade '2,918 Miles'

The case-related stuff was decent but not great, but the character stuff for Jo was excellent. I've always liked the maturity in the Jo/Ellie relationship. Sure, Ellie's a teenager, and she acts like one, but does so realistically, without being a cliche. I hope we see more of Peter Horton in...

    Sela/Jo Thread #1 "I'm Jo Danville. I didn't do it."

If I was guessing cold I wouldn't guess 40, probably more like mid-40's. But she definitely looks a good 10 years younger than her age. :)

    Sela/Jo Thread #1 "I'm Jo Danville. I didn't do it."

Personally, I think Sela looks amazing so far this year, even more than she has the last two years. Especially in the screencaps from the upcoming "Unspoken" that were just posted to this site. It's hard to believe she's 56 years old, the woman just doesn't age!

    Grade 'Reignited'

I think the reason why Christine got so much screen time is a very simple one, and not a cause for alarm. We saw so much of Christine because there was emphasis on Mac's recovery from the shooting in last season's finale. And I for one am glad they devoted some time to it. Unlike the beginning...

    Grade 'Reignited'

I agree. I think Jo might be the first one to notice because she's good at observing behavior, and I think Mac will have a tougher time hiding it at work than at home. I think she'll approach Mac about it, but she won't come down hard on him for keeping it to himself. She knows him well enough...

    Grade 'Reignited'

I gave it a solid B+. I thought the case itself was solid, but not "OMG" exceptional. What I loved most were the scenes involving Mac's recovery, and the scenes with Mac & Christine. I feel terrible for Mac with his memory issues, I hope he doesn't keep it from Christine for very long. I...

Dear CSI: NY writers... (suggestions for Season 9)

I too would love to see Ellie finally go meet her bio-mom. There was a plot-element to her that I vaguely remember reading about when the character was first being discussed before Season 7, that I wonder if they'll eventually delve into. It involved Jo, Ellie, and the bio-mom(won't say more...

Dear CSI: NY writers... (suggestions for Season 9)

I'd like to see her return as well. I've been a fan of Kathleen Munroe since I saw her on The Dresden Files a few years ago, and she & Eddie played off each other well. It would be nice to see her turn things around.

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

If you mean Season 6 for Miami, then you DO get four more years of it. :)

Dear CSI: NY writers... (suggestions for Season 9)

I'd like to see it tested too, but I don't want drama that seems overly contrived. These are two mature adults, with full lives. I hope whatever challenges they encounter in this relationship feel natural, same with the way they handle those challenges. I don't want to see them acting like...

Dear CSI: NY writers... (suggestions for Season 9)

First, to your points: 1) Six months isn't THAT much bigger a jump than normal, the season premiere will likely be about 4 months from now. Mac doesn't seem like the type to marry a woman that fast, and if he's still a practicing Catholic it's a near impossibility. Getting married in most...

    Mac/Christine #1

I just hope they've got the necessary contracts in place to continue this relationship next year, because it's been delightful to watch. After his last two romances, I'm ready for one that sticks, especially as the show enters what will likely be its last year. It's been 10 years for Mac, he...

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

Yeah, they made that announcement a while back, and even before it was official, there was news coming out about actors being signed for Season 13. Like CSI:NY, CSI:Vegas is on something of an upswing creatively. The addition of Ted Danson and Elisabeth Harnois this season has really livened the...

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

I was really worried this would be the end for CSI:NY, what with the Friday timeslot and the short episode-order. The running theories were that either NY or Miami would come back, but not both. I'm really glad it's NY coming back. I think it's been on a real creative upswing the last two years...

    Season 8 Ratings

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Networks-Ratings-DVR-1038856.aspx According to that article on TV Guide, nearly half of viewers have a DVR now, and as a result the Live+7 numbers are showing larger increases than ever for some shows. I haven't seen the L+7 numbers for CSI:NY, but I gotta think...

    What's Your Most Favourite CSI:NY Episode(s)?

I'm gonna list mine in the order they aired, because picking an absolute favorite it too tough. :) Three Generations Are Enough - A great example of CSI:NY's theme, "everything's connected". Plus I really liked Jane, the DNA lady :) The Fall - great character moments for Flack, Eddie...

Seasons 1-7 Characters, Still Alive, You'd Like To See In Season 8

It's funny, but the characters I most want to see back are all the potential love interests for Mac. :) Jane Parsons - Sonya Walger is nine kinds of lovely, and I thought she & Gary Sinise had great chemistry. It would be fantastic to see her return to the lab. Quinn Shelby - I thought she...

What was your favorite episode in season seven?

I thought Unfriendly Chat was probably the most enjoyable episode of what was a very strong 7th Season. It started with one of the sexiest openings they've ever had(Sass Dumonde, le rowr rowr!). I liked that Adam got plenty to do. The scenes with Mac & Jo on that chat site were fun(and the one...

Who is your least favorite character?

Re: Who is your most unfavorite character? Well, the network doesn't seem to share your sentiments. A recent quote from a CBS exec said they were quite pleased with the ratings CSI:NY was getting for them on Friday nights(where expectations are much different than Wednesdays), and if they held...
