Adorable_Crazy
Adorable_Crazy, or Steph as she is also known, is a happy, but very random 18 year old girl, she resides in Northern Ireland, and is known for her love of CSI:NY, especially Adam Ross. She came across the CSI franchise about 3 years ago, while channel flicking, resulting in her watching an episode of CSI. She immediately fell in love with the show, and soon became an avid viewer and Purejoy shipper, who had a huge crush on Gil, needless to say she was extremely upset when Billy announced he’d be leaving the show half way through season 9. Not long after becoming an LV fan, Steph also discovered CSI:NY, immediately falling in love with the adorkable lab tech Adam Ross, and developing a yearning for Mac and Stella to get together (which she still holds). Steph can often be found lurking in shipper central, where she mods, or spending a lot more time than she should playing the members lounge.

Aside of CSI, Steph loves watching movies (action movie and thrillers are her favourite genres), listening to music (mainly indie rock, especially The Killers), spending time with her friends and family and surfing the net. She also enjoys reading, and is a student, hopefully going on to study Modern History at University in September. Those of you who know Steph well, will also know that she has an unhealthy (well she thinks so anyways) obsession with Ontario Canada, Toronto in particular, she has visiting Ontario 3 times and would love to come back in the near future. Her ambition is to go on to become a history teacher (and possibly move to Canada).

CSI_Kat
CSI_Kat aka Kat has been a member of the Talk CSI board for just over 2 years. She is a fan of all 3 shows but her favorite characters are Ryan from Miami and Greg from Las Vegas. She became addicted to CSI after seeing an episode of Miami with Ryan in it. She was pleased to discover this forum and has been here ever since.

She has been a mod in a few places but You will find her primarily in the fan art section where she loves to photoshop stuff.

You can also find Kat hanging out on yahoo IM, MSN, Live Journal, Facebook, etc

DaWacko
Dawacko aka Ducky is Teh Evilness, bring her a cookie when stepping in to Miscellaneous (and don't touch her beer) !

She was born in the middle of the darkest and coldest winter of Finland in the 80's and from there, in 2004 she's travelled all the way to wonderful world of the messageboards and now as settled down to talkCSI Miscellaneous along with her co-moddy, Jacquie.

Why she ended up in here? It's all because of David Caruso and his asskickingess and the fact that CSI Miami was about to start. And Mr. C's asskickingness isn't there just because they share birthday (But it is a big yay!) After that, Ducky has found many, many other reasons to follow all three shows, these reasons include Gary Sinise's asskickingness (along with some black t-shirts and katanas) and Carmine C's hottness. And of course double asskickingess of Saint H and The Holy Sunglasses & Frank

In the horrible, cold thing called The Real World Ducky studies politics at uni somewhere very north, where is lots of snow, reindeers and nordic lights. And when she sometimes have free time, she likes to play floorball, volleyball, football, being politically active, watch tv shows or fish.. especially ice fishing is close to her heart. Now what could be better during the winter than sit alone in cold, in the middle of the frozen lake for hours and hours... and catch nothing... erm I mean, fish.

Where you can see Ducky in talkCSI? Well of course in Misc, but then she also can be seen in show forms or General TV & Media - and if lovely mod Lucy has dropped vodka soaked breadcrumbs to the floor that lead to Shipper Central - you may catch her in there - in a certain thread

Ducky Duckyfies© people, if possible

Destiny
Destiny Destiny@csifiles.com

One night after feeling depressed by other boards bsing, found herself once again back at talkcsi, having come here many times lurking, she finally got tired of that nasty "Login" staring at her saying "click me" so she registered, never knowing what was waiting on the other side of that door, and over five years later she is glad she never turned away.

Hailing from Ohio, whose real name is Susan was Born in 'seventy-three' during the early morning commonly known as 'Happy Hour' growing up in a semi large family, she credits them for the person she is today, which is also just one reason she uses the nick-name Destiny, to remind herself and others that life is a destiny to be fulfilled.

She can be found in the Crime Scene Investigation Forum, tree shaking trees and hosing folks when required, she isn't considered a 'sanity challenged' mod for nothing. Though she can be considered stubborn and persistent, you might be surprised to learn she can be slightly shy as well, no one said you can see it, just surprised by it! -- In the forum you can find her helping others, be it to get back on topic in funny ways, or just listening to them, giving advice, or joking with them, sometimes though she may have to bring out "Meanie Mod" but is happy its not often.

In her spare time she enjoys, watching the Cleveland Indians, TV, listening to music, being outside and writing, as well as helping others, just one of her motto's is the person you see on the net, is pretty much who she is off the net.

Dizzney
Dizzney was born on a beautiful Sunday, the 20th of May of 1973. She grew up in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin but moved to the much warmer climate of Florida when she was 9. She has lived since then in 4 different cities in Florida, ending up where she is now, only a couple of miles from a famous Magical Kingdom. She eventually ended up working for the Big Mouse that owns that Magical Kingdom and a few other weird places and became a but dizzy from it's size, hence becoming Dizzney.

She has watched CSI pretty much since it started but became more obsessed...yes obsessed, with it about 3 years ago. She came to find this wonderful place to talk about her favorite show (and actor Eric Szmanda) in 2007 and became hooked on constantly visiting TalkCSI. Occassionally she dabbles in writing CSI fanfics which mostly center around her favorite character, Greg Sanders.

When not watching CSI or on this board, she is usually working way too much or getting that wonderful thing called sleep.

Dragonfly
It was a dark and stormy night (well, actually, it was a bright and sunny afternoon, but that’s not important). Dragonfly was searching for anything and everything related to her favorite character from any of the CSI shows, the recently departed Speed. She was thrilled to find an entire thread of discussion dedicated to her beloved character, but being new to message boards, she didn’t join in the discussion. For a while, it was an on-again-off-again relationship, before she became a permanent lurker. Finally, almost two years after her discovery of the board, she registered an account on May 26, 2006. Once she took the plunge and made her first post, she never looked back. She ventured into all of the forums at one point or another, some more than others. While in the fan art forum, she rediscovered a love for all things photoshop. A year and a half after joining, in December 2007, Dragonfly was asked to moderate the fan art forum, and no one has been able to get rid of her since.

In real life, Dragonfly uses her vast fortune to travel the world. In her dreams, however, she is known as Meg, and attends a University in her home and native land of Canada where she's majoring in Applied Disaster and Emergency Studies. She likes horses, dragonflies, the ocean, spending time with family and friends, and long walks on the… Oh, never mind. That’s too much information.

egeria
There once was a girl who lived in a nutshell, first in Canada then as a young adult, in Ireland. She settled quite nicely in Ireland, Irish nuts being none so different from Canadian nuts.

Despite living in a nutshell (it was walnut if you must know) she made some really good friends all around the world.

You might be surprised the shell hasn’t cracked, because it’s usually rocking to all kinds of music that the occupant listens too, she being rather uncomfortable in complete silence. With a playlist that includes music as varied as Rammstein to Mozart, there is never a dull moment to be had.

In addition to her love of music, this girl finds it hard to be idle; she is always finding something to do. And because she has such a vivid imagination, she can normally be found doing something creative. She knits, makes jewellery, writes stories and poems, makes music videos, paints model figurines and makes graphic art.

Sure her nutshell may be a little cluttered with all this activity going on, but she’s pretty happy because she has friends who share her interests, and she is constantly learning new things about herself and the world outside her nutshell.

So that’s Egeria…in a nutshell!

Elsie
Elsie is fast approaching 30 and recently found her first grey hair. She hails from York; admittedly biased she believes that it is surely one of the most beautiful places in the world. She enjoys good food, fine wine and interesting conversation. Elsie would happily give all of that up for a decent cup of tea.

Elsie loves CSI: NY, along with sleeping and kittens it's one of her top three favourite things. She spends far too much of her spare time surfing the web, and Talk CSI is always her first port of call.

Faylinn
Faylinn is a 20-something girl from North Carolina. She has been watching all three CSI series for a long time, but CSI: New York is her favorite member of the franchise. A Google search led her to TalkCSI, and she joined the board in November 2005. She became a moderator in the General CSI Discussion forum in July 2006, and she's been there ever since. Fay has also been writing news articles for CSI Files since May 2007.

Fay is unmarried, and she has no children or pets. She does, however, have a red stuffed octopus named Junito and an orange stuffed rhinoceros named Oliver--their interspecies love for each other is enough to keep her going. Fay collects owls, bottles, decorative boxes, squishy balls, magnets and cheap plastic junk from vending machines (she never leaves home without some quarters in her purse). When her printer cooperates, Fay enjoys making paper toys to perch on her three overstuffed bookcases. Those shelves hold nearly 300 books--but the really good stuff is hidden in her nightstand drawer. ^_~

Fay has a tendency to bookmark too many websites that she never gets around to revisiting. She eats too much popcorn--especially when she's watching her favorite DVDs. She enjoys everything from CSI, Doctor Who and the Terminator movies to Firefly, Independence Day and Queer as Folk. In addition to enjoying the works of others, Fay likes to spend time working on various novels she hopes to publish in the future.

FieldMouse
True to her procrastinating self, Fieldmouse (aka Missee) never quite got around to watching CSI until a few years had passed. Since Greg became her favorite about the same time she discovered TalkCSI, it was inevitable that she would use him as her screen name inspiration. As he was a Labrat moving into the field, FieldMouse seemed like a perfect choice. Eventually Fieldmouse, moved on to the spinoffs, and now includes Ryan and Nick among her favorite characters.

She was born a long time ago, in a large midwestern town that is known to worship Redbirds. It might have been cold or not since it was in mid-March, but she's too lazy to get up and call her mom to find out.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, ghost hunting, tracing her family tree (so she knows who to blame), and chatting with her online friends. To date (in addition to visiting England, Wales and Canada) she has been to 44 of the 50 states. She hopes to quit procrastinating, and get to the other 6 soon.

GregNickRyanFan
GNRF (for short) is addicted to writing fanfics (and also making fanart). However, she still finds it difficult to write about herself and because of that, this bio was written by a holographic writer. A holographic writer is sort of like a ghost writer, only not dead because a hologram isn't actually alive in the human sense. But, enough about myself. This is supposed to be about GNRF.

She's often found hanging out with her favorite guys: Greg, Ryan, Nicky and Jake. She can sometimes be a bit of a drama queen (not necessarily in a bad way). She occasionally breaks out in song for no apparent reason. She also has the ability to project holograms of herself if the need arises (no one knows how she does it though). This is extremely helpful in her mod duties and is also why she seems to be around so much. She co-mods the FanFic section and she's always there to lend a helping hand when/if she can.

HellsBells
Once upon a time, in a far far away land (Southern US), a girl was born in the month of July (of '86). She was born with brown eyes and brown hair, and a little giggle that brought a smile to even the manliest of men (her dad was one of them). Now, years later (Good ol' '09), in a land not so far away (Mid-West US), her eyes are green, her hair a lighter brown, and a giggle that she likes to believe can make men swoon (A girl can hope, right?).

Her name, HellsBells (that would be me).

She likes to do a lot of different things, and never likes to be defined by what she likes or how she acts, but by what she does. She's nerdy, and geeky, and yet fashionable (she likes to think so at least), and sporty. She loves reading (you should see her book collection), watching movies (heh. She could almost put Blockbuster to shame), watching TV, and listening to music (She has so many cds that each finding in her own bedroom is like buying it for the first time all over again).

She loves sports, and can personally kick ass at volleyball (and baseball, and soccer, and tennis, and- well, you get the idea, right?). She also loves to travel, and loves to drive (Would you believe me if I told you she likes to go on road trips?). She loves to write, and loves photography (count her cameras, I dare you!), and dreams of being an actress one day (she watched too many movies growing up).

Some other facts (because that's why you are here, right?) that might not be known include:
- She's a lefty (and damn proud of it)
- She's afraid of ladders (Not of height's mind you, she likes tall buildings)
- She hates spiders (too many legs!)
- She walks a little too fast for her own good

She's a twenty-three year old girl, and hates to be defined as normal...

Because normal is just so over rated.

Jacquie
I was born on a cold Friday morning, at least I'm assuming it was cold since my birthday is at the beginning of the year, in the southern part of the country that is the Largest Country in North America by land mass. We also share the longest common border with our neighbours to the south.

My hubby and I are owned by 5 cats. Oliver, Tuppence, and Riley allow us to pay the bills and share the place with them that they call home. Becky and Caramel let us run the store that we own while they collect all the glory.

When we have the time we love to travel. We've been to all 10 provinces and 2 of the 3 territories in Canada. When we accomplished the feat of driving across Canada there were only 2 territories. So I do like to say that we've done all of Canada. We've also driven to 49 of 50 States. We have been to Hawaii but as there is no bridge between the mainland and Hawaii we had to fly. We've also been to Hong Kong, Taiwan, England, Scotland and Wales. I've also went to communist Russia when I was in grade 13.

I have a major fondness for a particular actor that hails from Texas. I've also gotten to like another guy the comes from Wisconsin. Both these reasons are why you'll find me in the CSI Forum when I'm not moderating with my co-mod Ducky in the Misc Forum.

kinkapoodles
Well, it's 8pm on June 30th so I have four hours to actually start..umm finish this bio. What can I say? I work better under pressure. I stumbled upon CSI Files one night and before long I had found TalkCSI. That was May 2005 and I have been here ever since.

kinkapoodles, AKA Rhonda, lives just outside of Charleston, WV in a town hardly anybody can pronounce. She is married with two boys, 13 and 11, and she's willing to trade the 11 year old because he's a handful. She is a stay at home mom, God help her, and though she tends to complain when they mess up the house, she really likes being home with them...most of the time.

Her internet time consists of TalkCSI where she likes to hang out in the NY forum (mostly lurks but sometimes joins in the conversation) and keep the peace with her fellow mods in Shipper Central. She also spends time on LiveJournal (massive amounts of time), Facebook (sporadically), IMs, and her favorite thing to do - Google random things. She also spends quite a bit of time on Skype with her BFF Gill. She is known for her love of CSI:NY and of course Danny and Flack. Eddie Cahill is just too hot for his own good.

When she's not moving about the internet she spends the rest of her time asleep. Ok, maybe just some of it because she makes time for her boys whether it's watching movies with them, yelling at them, swimming with them, or whatever the three of them can get into. She also likes to walk, read, actually watch other shows on tv, shopping, and probably more things that she can't remember right now.

ladyhunter
I’m Heather or if you have been on TALK CSI as long as I have, I was known as hhunter (boring I know, but a late-night log in kept my brain from anything else more funny or clever) Now I’m ladyhunter after one of my favorite CSI characters.

I guess this is where I tell you about my obsession. Did I say obsession? Well at first it was an obsession with Grissom. Yes Gil Grissom that piqued my attention to this wonderful show we all enjoy called CSI. But then, just when I thought my obsession or whatever with CSI was going to take over my life, I found *gasp* a new show; CSI: New York. So now I’m not only obsessed with Gil Grissom but also now Mac Taylor. I’m just hoping I’ll never meet either William Petersen or Gary Sinise in Real Life, because LORD ONLY KNOWS what would happen.

Speaking of Real Life… I live in Western Washington. Yes, it rains A LOT. I have twin daughters and teach preschool. I do enjoy taking in the local scenery, hiking, biking and when CSI isn’t taking over my brain, enjoying my family.

I can be found in Shipper Central as a mod. If I’m not there, check out either the fanfic forum (I have several stories going I really need to finish), the CSI: Las Vegas forum, the New York forum, and lastly the fan art forum just to ogle at all the lovely art.

lostladyknight
Lostladyknight (or LLK as most of the world calls her) is a bitty of an old spinster. She's an eighty-four year-old woman trapped in the body of a twenties-something girl. While her peers spend their free time drinking a wee bit too much and cramming for exams she's at home in her pj's and ready for bed by 4 pm. Not that she doesn't know how to socialize, it's just that she so stuck in her ways, and likes it like that. She loves her routine is often quite grumpy when it's broken.

She makes her way in the world as a sometimes-dedicated sometimes-not student and earns a living from either making small children giggle or cry—whichever the mood calls for. She takes her mod-ly duties in the Fanfiction forum very seriously and isn't afraid to be the stern voice when the situation calls for it. She's got enough practice by being grumpy and spinster-like. She quite working with her co-mod GregNickRyanFan who never misses a detail.

And there's her grandmother like qualities, too. From the kindly way she goes the extra mile to help when asked to the way she beams with pride at all of the successes of those around her. Especially when someone's mastered a new skill for the first time. Say, a first fanfic! Just as long as she's in bed in plenty of time to rise with the sun and try not to be a grumpy-old-bat for the rest of the day. Just call her “LLK” or “the crazy old lady on the corner with all the cats—er, dogs;” whichever. She'll come to both. Just be prepared that once you bring up the dogs (and cats) she's probably not going to stop talking about them.

And that's pretty much all you'll ever need to know about this granny-trapped-in-a young-woman's body other than that she's really quite a bit of fun on occasion and that she's located someplace that demands she live by the schedule of the eastern time zone. Feel free to comb the mountains in the eastern United States if you need to speak with her. She'll be the one in the rocker knitting away in the corner.

sandersidle
"So, it's 12:40am and I'm supposed to be sleeping but instead I decided to try and write a funny and witty biography. It seems I can be witty about anything but myself. How that works, I don't know. Anyways, you want to know more about me, you say? Or maybe you didn't. Either way you're reading this.

I was born and raised (well, still being raised) in Canada. What province? It's a mystery.~ I was born at 9:40pm. Or maybe it was 9:50pm. One of those. The umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck, my face turned blue and I couldn't breathe. I sometimes like to use that as an excuse for my actions. It does not work. I'm oddly tall for my age, I hate it. Average height = the best.

I'm obsessive and still love CSI. I don't watch the new episodes but seasons 1 - 5 of Las Vegas are the best things in the world. When I'm upset, I turn on any one of those seasons and stuff my face with chips. Yes, my comfort food is NOT ice cream. Fiction > Reality. "Sometimes… fiction is the best metaphor. And sometimes fiction is actually more fact."

Frank Iero for president. That is all."

Shazza_018
Shazza_018 aka Sophia is a happy but rather random 18 year old teenage girl who lived in England. She has a ton of hobbies and random things she does. A keen graphics maker, she is generally friendly and nice to everyone, and can get along with pretty much anyone. She loves all 3 CSI shows, and pretty much all the characters. Also she has a love for music of all kinds but I'm my fav is rock music. She watches a variety of tv shows and have a variety of interests including: fashion, stock, sport and many more things. she can be found pretty much all around the board but mainly modding her lovely little forum the members lounge.

Smokey
Tucked away amongst the corn fields of Indiana is a pretty hip little college town called Bloomington. Home of Indiana University, John Mellencamp, and the Kinsey Institute for Sex Research, it's no wonder Smokey likes to call it home. To clarify, Smokey is not a guy, a bear, or a smoker. Let's see...that would make her a girl, a human, and a non-smoker, wouldn't it? Sounds about right.

Smokey is pretty ancient compared to a lot of the folks at Talk, having been conceived under Kennedy and born under Johnson way back in the sixties. She pretty much lives on the computer and probably knows more people online than off. In fact, many of her best friends are people she originally met online and then came to know in "real life". She loves to travel around the US meeting up with these folks, especially for concerts. She loves music, mainly folk and singer/songwriter stuff, photography, writing, reading, and trekking on her own through the mountains and deserts of the West.

Smokey was late to the party in discovering the greatness that is CSI Las Vegas. A Spike TV marathon caught her one weekend, dragged her in, and wouldn't let go. She bought all of the DVDs and watched nonstop for days. Then she went looking online for people as obsessed as she was. After a few disappointing ventures into poor excuses for CSI boards, she finally found Talk CSI and those obsessed fans she was looking for!

Currently Smokey can be found hovering over the LV threads modding with her mentor, Destiny, and hoping to one day earn the keys to the cabinet that hold the hosing supplies. Until then, she makes do with her modest secret stash of less lethal weapons. ;-)

speed_cochrane
A once pasty and relatively sane Canuck named speed_cochrane was introduced to TalkCSI back in the summer of '04 while a family member was reading spoilers and spilled the beans that her favourite character was getting the axe. Lurk-mode and the hunger for information began thereafter.

Time passed and she finally gave in and signed up, figuring that the Miami Forum would be a nice place to compla--er, vacation and really grew to love the atmosphere of the place. However, one evening in the winter of '06 while she was innocently chatting (okay, loitering) with friends in the middle of a dark alley - also known as 'The Spoiler Lab' -, speed_cochrane was suddenly recruited (kidnapped at phaserpoint) by The Romulan to moderate the CSI:Miami Forum where she soon developed a permenant sunburn and irreversible lunacy, thus she was never quite able to navigate the fence -- which under normal circumstances, would facilitate her escape.

After a few days of wandering in circles, making sandcastles and receiving no returned calls from the Embassy, speed_cochrane began to show signs of Stockholm Syndrome and was convinced Miami was her new home and that The Romulan wasn't so bad afterall.

speed_cochrane can usually be seen hiding in the sand or sneaking off to finish building her Hummerhome.

vegaslights
vegaslights, also known as Shane, has watched CSI since the first season. Since becoming a devoted fan to the show, he has had the honor to meet many of the original series' writers, directors, and cast members including William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Laurence Fishburne and Robert David Hall. He currently works as a intern for a newspaper in Southern California--and in his spare time, writing speculation scripts for television series.

Yoshi
Yoshi discovered CSI: Crime Scene Investigation when it first aired in the UK after her Mother told her ‘You’ll like this programme I watched last night, The Who do the theme tune’.

Wise words from a wise woman.

A few years later a love of CSI: Miami was also nurtured. She lurked into the wee hours around Talk CSI, wondering if she too could work out how to post a photo of Nick Stokes in the hallowed surrounds of ‘The Ward’, and to speak to the other CSI obsessives within. Obviously she did – and look what happened. As well as spending far too much time on the board, she spends late nights talking to friends on IM, drinks tea excessively, plays amateur DJ with friends on an internet radio station, loves music, reading, Radio 4, science fiction, 24, Dexter, Coronation Street, Stephen Fry, Bill Bailey, adores felines, follows F1, likes watching tennis and cycling. Quite likes cooking. Not so keen on moths and broccoli. In order to fund the above she spends a portion of real life hours as the manager of a care home.

Yoshi lurks at the edge of the Lower Peak District in England having returned there after years of working and studying in murkier and scarier areas, too murky and scary to mention.
